Let me know if you can shoot any videos of the place. Just has to be scary not necessarily haunted for real.

Yes, I can and have shot quite a bit there. Hit me up via email (in my sig) and we can talk.

Scott, in all seriousness I will tell you now "spirits" both good and bad really do exist. If you need help understanding this, I will share with you what I have come to know first hand, off the board. :2 cents:

Are you saying this is why all your pics are out of focus? Paranormal activity?

He was at a party at his friends house, his grandma who lived there had died 1-2 years before, my dad says he saw the lady walk by a doorway in the kitchen. I dismiss it, he said he wasn't drunk but I'm pretty sure an 18 year old guy at a house party was drunk. To this day he still believes he saw that.

He's Scottish, he needs no other criteria to be drunk :)

That post should be taken out and shot.

why? my point is that whenever someone says eg there is no other intelligent life in the universe, the 'clever' people chime in with how despite zero proof of it, it *must* exist, and it'd be 'arrogant' to assume we are the only ones here. Yet get a thread like this, and all the 'clever' people chime in with how it's retarded to think there could possibly be any form of *something* that exists.

that *something* doesn't necessarily need to be ghosts, just like intelligent life elsewhere needn't be little green aliens (and just like 'god' needn't be a man in the clouds).

My 'work that one out then' sentence relates to how it baffles me that people can keep an open mind about one thing, despite zero proof, and also understand that advanced intelligence may be wildly different to anything we imagine, yet those same people have completely closed minds and concepts about what 'ghosts' or 'god' is/are and instead choose to assume everyone thinks that the *something* has to be an old dude in the clouds with a long white beard, or casper the friendly ghost :upsidedow

I wasn't arguing against your point. What I meant by that was that it made my head spin, trying to make sense of it due to the way it was formulated. :)

One time i got spooked because i saw a light or a shape move across a door when i was working late at night. Then i clued in that it happened each time a car drove by at night with their lights on. the light bounced off a couple glass doors and made it's way to the door i was at. Ninja lights.

I am guessing most unexplained ghost stories are also easily explained by logic if you really wanted to figure it out.

ah right, though when I read it again and did wonder if it was that :1orglaugh I'm about as good with concisely writing down thoughts as I am with tech stuff :winkwink: :1orglaugh

47 haunted houses and 5 idiotic tags

i believe.

we had a haunted office once and literally broke the lease to get out of it (5,000+ sq ft).

no one would believe me until we went around all the offices and looked behind the pictures ...small child hand prints were burnt into the wall behind the pictures.

Funny how there are endless shows and reality shows and "paranormal investigators" and they can never find any evidence whatsoever that holds up to scientific scrutiny and can never produce convincing evidence at all. Kinda like insisting bigfoot is "out there, somewhere" and for some strange reason, all the technology, helicopters, infrared night vision and "investigators" and "trackers" just can't seem to find anything.

Sounds like someone smarter than you just wanted you to break your lease ;)

To the ones with at least half a brain, it's obvious that it's entertainment. It appeals to the plebs, so why not make some money off of it? :)

This jackass with the baby shirts and lame hair is laughing all the way to the bank.

Whenever someone tells me that their house is haunted or they saw a ghost, I tell them to look up the following terms:

- pareidolia
- apophenia
- hypnagogic state
- pathetic fallacy
- Occcam's Razor

I didn't but, my kid was looking at some photos my mum had found when my nan died. I'd never seen them, or knew the people in them.
My kid was looking at them and says there's Hector.
Said he used to come and see her when she was little.

We didn't even know who the guy in the photo was so asked my old Aunt who the guy in the photo was, and yep he was called Hector and was my Nans uncle. Died in the 40's

Cant explain that away at all. Freaked me the fuck out though.
