Not dropped; changed. Their system just requires a trail of what happened, so they "drop" the basic charges and add the "clarified" charges. Often, they just change section or something minor. Examine the PC numbers to see what I mean.

In the first mug shot posted he had Unlawful Intercourse. That has been dropped, but replaced with Unlawful Sex W/Minor. I have a feeling they are just refining the charges.

It's hard-fought so far. Heterosexuality fired back with a marriage and a baby, but homosexuality had strong wins with nationality and place of employment. We will have to wait and see the outcome.

I'm told that doesn't happen all that often in Jail. It's mostly a prison thing.

That's the most disappointing thing I noticed in my brief visit to jail. I kept dropping the soap, but no one seemed interested. :(

The jail my girl works in has had ONE instance in the 17 years she's been working there.

Funny thing, the guy who got fucked was in for something similar to what Donny is sitting in there for.

So perhaps...he does stand a chance :winkwink:

Anti-pornography activist Donny Pauling Jr. faces new criminal charges alleging statutory rape of a second victim.

Pauling was arrested Dec. 1 after a 16-year-old girl told Sutter County sheriff's deputies that Pauling, 41, had ongoing sexual contact with her for the past three years. He is scheduled to appear in Sutter County Superior Court today in a preliminary hearing in that case.

The second alleged victim was identified when evidence was presented to Yuba City police in mid-December. The evidence suggested Sutter County sheriff's Capt. Lewis F. McElfresh Jr. watched Pauling have sex with a minor related to McElfresh.

Deputy District Attorney Anu Chopra filed a nine-count criminal complaint naming Pauling in that case on Wednesday. The charges alleged four incidents of unlawful sex with a minor.
The suggestion there are additional victims has been made in court by Chopra and District Attorney Amanda Hopper.

Investigators are in the process of interviewing eight minor girls as potential victims of Pauling, according to a declaration filed by Sutter County sheriff's Lt. James Casner. Some of those girls live in Glenn and Butte counties.

Chopra said she will ask for a bail enhancement for Pauling, which, if granted, would increase his bail from $500,000 to $1 million. He is housed in Colusa County Jail.

McElfresh was charged with multiple felony sex crimes relating to the alleged incident involving his relative.

He is currently housed in Yolo County Jail with bail set at $5 million.

Our jail is covered in cameras and she runs the room they're in most days, there are very few spots she can't see.

But yes, there's probably plenty that goes on that even the guards aren't privy to.

Which I have said to him more than once. I don't think he gets it.

We all like to think we know what is going on "below us" - in this case, meaning the guards knowing about the dirty little dealings going on behind their backs. And usually this is not the case.

I ran ICS for a while, and I thought I was pretty smart. We had a staff of thirty or forty people. I thought I knew what was going on. I am still friends with a lot of former employees, and years later I discovered there was so much I did know.

Looks like Donny has some new charges, including burglary.

My guess is the further the investigation went, the more they found.

Thinking about it, it was on his facebook page, posted by his mom. I see its now deleted and his facebook page is gone. Probably way too much Christian love and support and God doing his will through Donny, going on on there.
