don't get your first tattoo in a place where it can been seen in the summer months - i.e. it's hidden even if you are wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
Many people regret their first tattoo and if that happens to you then you don't want to have to hide it all the time. if you get your tat and you are still happy with it after a year or so then go ahead and get your second anywhere you like - remembering that there are still some companies that will not employ people with visible tattoos.

EDIT - forgot to say - never get a cartoon, logo or a picture done, always have a pattern or something like that, cartoons and images go out of style and are much easier to regret but patterns don't.

Sleeves are trashy? No one told me. I worked in shops for many years as a body piercer...my advice...don't get anything that shows past a short sleeve shirt or shorts. But what do I know...I'm trashy.

In that case I would not need a tattoo. What is the point if it shows only when you are naked? I mean tats are for "style" and not some secret mark.

I'm covered already but for someone who is getting their first tattoo...100%. When you've worked in that biz you see a lot of ppl w regrets.. And especially nowadays w ink being trendy. It's for life. You can't take them off like a change of clothes.

Why exaggerate? Don't you see the difference between forearm and forehead?

And for what are tattoos? What is the point otherwise? To look at it in the mirror before bed time? :)

I'd go inner outta those 2 choices. I have one but a short sleeve t-shirt can cover it.

I'll chip in if ya do the Apple Logo, no need to put "It Just Works" or "Superior Device" below it as the logo itself already tells people that. :1orglaugh

Well tattoo is about the art or individuality, personality.
Class doesn't have much to do with it.... but higher classes don't generally have tattoos.

But I still would go with something smaller in case later regret :2 cents:
