Yesterday I hired my first programmer from Odesk, he looks like a trustworthy guy. The name "Debal" actually means "Trust" in Indian:

It was between him and some other idiot who wanted $15/hour. Which i think is a complete rip off. (do these programmers not know there is thousands of needy bastards that are willing to do the same work at a slashed rate)
He quoted me $50 for the project. Full tube software (i decided to take the advice and do a tube instead). So we have $19,950 left for the project and a $100 adwords coupon.
Im quite excited to have this going. :)

Why do you need a programmer to start a tube? I would get Mech Bunny (unlimited domain license, unlike KVS), one of the themes that they, or somebody else sells, possibly a logo, and fill it up with a lot of clips (self hosted). Change titles, add one sentence of descriptions, work on creating a brand on social media (and outside), and you should be good. I dont see how to make it profitable, at this point, but I know that it can be, especially by looking at big, and one step lower sites...
How do you make money with tubes?
- cameras
- dating
- premium videos / paid version of the site (could be redirection to a different paid domain)
- affiliate banners
- ads from places like Ero-Advertising and Exoclick
- Plugrush can be used too
- selling ad space
- in video ads (again, Ero-Advertising"]Ero-Advertising, Exoclick, and so on)
- popunder / popunders
Traffic trading from thumbs can be added too. What else is needed here, and how to get the site up in traffic over time? Somebody said, the other day, that there is over 100 separate methods of building up traffic to an xxx tube? What would it be? Where to get more info about it on the Net?
