Telling people to stop racial profiling is stupid. The simple fact is it's not just the color of someone's skin that leads to them being profiled. Cops meet deadly force with deadly force. If someone is trying to disarm or harm you with possible permanent disfigurement then what are the cops supposed to do? Give you a soda and a stern warning? Oh wait... Let's just shoot to wound because it's so easy to shoot a moving / charging target.... Lol you're just as dumb as these dirtbag sit at home and get the monthly entitlement check.

But no, they don't need to shoot to kill every time they fire their weapon. And that is exactly what police procedure is these days.

And you are right, it's not easy to hit a moving target. But somehow the cops manage to get a kill shot in every damn time. Doesn't it seem to you that it would be more difficult to do that?

Also, how can you justify a cop shooting a person multiple times? I'm not talking about during a "shoot out". Those are very, very rare. I'm talking about shooting a person and then unloading the entire clip into them until you make sure they are dead.

That just isn't what I grew up with in this country.

My feeling is that cops are supposed to work FOR us. Not be a gang of guys who are licensed to kill.

A little common sense and restraint is what is needed.

Cops need to stop trying to intimidate every person that they pull over for a traffic stop. They need to regain a sense of what their job really is (protect and serve). And the "Shoot to kill" normal operating procedure needs to be reigned in.

I'm not advocating anything "extreme". Just common sense.
People are NOT going to put up with this forever. And it's starting a backlash that can be very dangerous for our society.
