At the end of the day, the question is simple ... should a small, extreme and subhuman element be allowed to dictate what you can and cannot say. This has nothing to do with Islam. I read earlier this morning that the charlie attack has been being planned for years now and the jewish grocery store attack was a separate and coincidental event.

That's not really true.. Much of the middle east, at least the cities were much the same as the cities of the Westren world up until the 70's. That's when there was the great Islamist revolution in many of those countries which dumbed down the masses and turned their countries backwards..
