Probably psy trance for me, but first thing first - I need to hit the gym already. Too many hours in front of the pc and not many hours running or doing anything that involves moving.

Hopefully, that is going to change soon, regardless of new year resolutions and stuff like that. Good luck. :)

Well....I never associate the word 'artistically' with Huey Lewis. LOL I consider him to be the white Lionel Ritchie. :)

I'm more into Classic Rock. I lived through the eighties and that's when I started as a writer in the music biz. I interviewed Huey (great guy!) and also Phil Collins (also very cool guy). But my tastes were very 1975, even back then. But I can appreciate the professionalism and the overall sound of that time period, and 'Sports' was certainly in my album collection. :) Back To The Future helped Huey a lot, too.

Ahh good times. I feel so old now. LOL

Did you know that Whitney Houston's debut LP, called simply Whitney Houston had 4 number one singles on it? Did you know that? It's hard to choose a favorite among so many great tracks, but "The Greatest Love of All" is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album. :2 cents:

Whitney's first album was amazing. That track especially is gorgeous (and a wonderful message, too). It's a shame how her life turned out but no one sang like Whitney Houston. :)
