As much as the Robot on an ATV looks like shit...
Consider the size of it, they have created a simple, and smaller sized autonomous unit that is configurable to drive any vehicle.

Kind of bad ass when you think about it, can only think where they will be in 2 years with this..

in any other context Russia is not part of Europe...

As I said, the US geographical education is worse than shit. First of all, Europe but not "Europe". As about the arithmetic, seems it also sucks in the US schools, because about 10% of Russians live only in Moscow and the biggest part of Russia live in the European part. The Asian one is unpopulated (only a few millions live there). That's FYI again :winkwink:

Like the USA is not a part of America. You own much less of America than Russia owns of Europe. These shares are not even comparable. Sorry man, but I'm not in charge for your poor geographical education. Blame your government for that, not me.

I'm not sure what you are even arguing about, like I said, in a geographic sense Russia is part of Europe... in any other sense, political, economic, etc it's not...

for example, when someone says "I'm going to invest in European stocks", they certainly don't mean they will go to Moscow Stock Exchange and buy some Gazprom shares...

There is no other sense. It's only in your mind. As I said above, it's just a lack of the US geographic education. Nothing else.

Dominates? LOL :1orglaugh

Facebook, Amazon, YouTube etc are not technologies. All the electronics is made in China. The "almighty" US of A still use Russian rocket technologies to reach the space :2 cents:

These are not technologies (except microprocessors of course). However there is a lot of Russian contributions even there. E.g. Pentkovsky (Intel Pentium), Levchin (PayPal), Stepanov (C++ STL), Roshal (RAR archiver), Kaspersky, Danilov (Dr.Web), Belousov (Parallels) etc. But once again, those are digital products/services but not technologies.

Many of these people were born in Russia and moved to the US, and made their contributions in the US, while working for US companies... they all lived most of their lives in the US, so calling them Russian is a bit of a stretch, as is implying that their contributions are in any way connected to Russia...

a more appropriate term would be Russian-born American...

Yeah, it's always easier to buy a specialist than to grow him (tells a lot about your education system). Even your space program was done by Nazis - something to be proud of :thumbsup

Are you so stupid to believe in those ratings? Look around. Almost everything the US have achieved was done by emigrants from other countries. Also how can you speak about high education if yours available for rich kids only (here in Russia it's free for everyone)? Poor people in the USA can't even afford a free medicine. But your virtual ratings are cool, of course. Kneel and enjoy doing a deepthroat to your government :)

the only reason we use your engines is because Bush invaded iraq instead of making rocket engines, we had retired the saturn v for various reasons, none of which were re: reliability.

Sure. There is a lot of Russian propaganda here and there. FYI: all Soviet/Russian cosmonauts were sent to space by Soyuz rockets and no one was killed by those rockets. All the US astronauts that were launched by Soyuz are also safe :2 cents:

In 1971, the Soyuz 11 mission resulted in the deaths of three cosmonauts when the crew capsule depressurized during preparations for re-entry. This accident resulted in the only human deaths to occur in space (as opposed to high atmosphere). The crew members aboard Soyuz 11 were Vladislav Volkov, Georgi Dobrovolski, and Viktor Patsayev.

holler back when you learn how to even attempt to build and launch a reuseable rocket like the shuttle. :1orglaugh it's beyond bizarre you are even trying to couch the shuttle program as unreliable. that's beyond silly. let alone compare the shuttle's main engine/booster rocket system to soyuz.
