yes, that's russian high-tech, a reusable rocket y'all only test fired 1 time! never relaunched/reused. but your posting it here as a win. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
more on that
It was treated as a Soviet space shuttle but only the plane itself was theoretically reusable, and while it was recovered successfully after its first orbital flight it was never reused. The expendable Energia rocket served as its launch vehicle. The flown Buran spacecraft was destroyed in 2002 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, when the hangar it was stored in collapsed. |

For example, my son is studying in National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI) for free and even gets paid for that by the government (studentship). BTW. Do you have some kind of free academic medicine for smart people as well? :1orglaugh |

but again, the shuttle system was a success and it;s inaccurate to portray it as unreliable. it was thoroughly reliable. |

Used to watch the Hogans Heroes TV show after school when I was a kid. It's not until you get older that you realize how society tries to slant things a certain way through media & entertainment :1orglaugh:1orglaugh . |

P.S. This university has its own Radiation-Accelerator Center (RTC) (yes, under ground right behind the gates shown at your screen) + a lot of branches across whole Russia. BTW, you didn't answer to my question: no free high education for your kids? Not smart enough? :winkwink: |

Korelev - russian father, ukrainian mother, born in the Ukraine - later colonel in the red army - before that begging to Stalin to relieve him from the Gulag where he was put for allegedly mismanaging money Von Braun - member of the SS - obviously not one of those that executed people personally but for sure someone who didn't care that others did and didn't care what happened around him and how many people died as long as he could play with his rockets this is actually not a contest who is the better person - we're just stating facts - and fact is that both the US and Russia plundered the German rocket program after the war for personnel and material |

P.S. As about Soviet rocket technologies. Famous Katyusha was made in 1939 and w/o German engineers. |

In the spring of 1945, Goddard saw a captured German V-2 ballistic missile, in the naval laboratory in Annapolis, Maryland, where Goddard had been working under contract. The unlaunched rocket had been captured by the US Army from the Mittelwerk factory in the Harz mountains, and samples began to be shipped by Special Mission V-2 on 22 May 1945.[61]
After a thorough inspection, Goddard was convinced that the Germans had "stolen" his work. |

I guess that the economy of russia is better (at least) now that it was with eltsine, i'm not a fan of putin, but i don't see a proof that he tries to destroy russia |

and yes, the economy of russia is based on oil and gas and not on technologies (if you except weapons) and that's why the rubble is so low...
Also if someone leaves russia to go elsewhere, it means that russia is unable to keep its scientists (just like Albert Einstein - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia under nazi germany) |

Also why would he want to destroy russia ? |

i don't really understand your answer, you can be corrupted without being linked to the mossad and you can be a corrupted president and rule for the good of your country... you are just more like a ...king than a president.
Also, you don't know how is used the money stolen by corruption. In france, politics use often the money to pay political campaigns, not to have a bigger car... It doens't means that it is acceptable or legal, it is just underground. |

Von Braun had no choice, you just didn't turn down an invitation/order from the Third Reich to join the SS. If you did you may have been signing your own death warrant at any point down the road. He was arrested, jailed and interrogated by the Gestapo as it was.
The U.S. and Russia were in a race to get the best of the German scientists for fear that if they didn't the other country would - and they would have. Most went to the U.S., after what Germany did to Russia they rightfully were scared shitless how the Russians would treat them. |
