You guys do realize that Perry is a POP star, not a ROCK star, right? I wouldn't call her talentless at all. She sings well, her POP songs are ok, she looks beautiful as hell, and did a perfect show to appeal to everyone at halftime, especially little kids. Give her a little credit. And the giant mechanical walking tiger was cool tool.

Katy Perry lip synching and running around dressed like a 14 year old girl (she's 31 years old) is just NOT what fits with the game of football.
Maybe if she were on a stripper pole in a bikini while AC/DC played live THEN she would fit the event a lot better.

Seriously, you gotta be stoned to really enjoy the halftime show. On my 60 inch Samsung HD TV it was KILLER. Giant walking robots and flying bitches. LOL Perry was CRAZY to go flying around like that but it was cool. :)

That was bizarre to me. They advertised him like crazy leading up to the SuperBowl...and then all he did was sing a verse of "I Kissed A Girl". That was just dumb.

And then they bring out Missy Elliot for a long spot (half of it while Katy Perry was changing her outfit) with absolutely no advertising of her being on the show at all.
I was watching thinking "is that Missy Elliot"?

So they make Lenny Kravitz sing a verse of one of Katy Perry's songs (and not perform any of HIS songs)...and then Katy & Missy "duet" on one of Missy's songs and then Missy does another of her own songs.

Somebody in charge there needs to get a grip.

And the weird thing is Missy & Katy are together on that first song which is about a girl talking about fucking and how big the cock is on the guy she is fucking. lol

Maybe Katy Perry thought that would make her look more "tough"...that is right up until the next song with her dressed like a cheerleader and singing about being a teen dream with a bunch of cartoon looking characters all around her.

Just a bizarro half-time show in every way.

I thought the halftime show was visually pretty impressive. I was watching with my dad and he was quite amazed by the giant walking tiger, the floor holo-effects, and the small flying platform Perry was on.

The music however was of no interest to either of us.
