Well I disagree about the Tetanus (thank you for spelling it correctly, I did not check the spelling before). My kid (who I do not have) cuts his finger on a rusty soda can and I want him to have his shot. One team in the UK is now researching a danger of one particular vaccine which I alerted them to after my obsessive research. :2 cents:

I haven't read all of the replies here but I know how this debate goes. I believe that parents that don't vaccinate their children are idiots. Whether it's their own paranoia or religious reasons doesn't matter. Children should be vaccinated to protect themselves, their family, and anyone who comes in contact with them. I'm a firm believer in that.

A serious problem going on these days is that too many people take too much "medical" advice from people who are not doctors. Others will take this BS and re-post it on other forums, etc. It's not funny, it's dangerous.

False information and crazy theories are what has caused years of proven science to be ignored and allowed diseases like the Measles to return.

1st and formost, both my kids are vaccinated. What I did choose to do was to space them out and not do multiple vaccines at the same time.


I do believe some vaccines on some people do cause issues such as allergic reactions, etc.

Keep in mind people also have bad reactions to peanuts, shellfish. etc.


Can vaccines be bad for people? Absolutely! But so can tap water in most countries.


At the end of the day everything can be bad for you. You need to just out way out the benefits versus the possible harm.



Overall I think vaccines are a good thing, but just like food allergies, I do believe certain Vaccines can hurt certain people.
