1st world women report rape more often than it actually happens. I am sure there are a lot of rapes that go unreported in the US, but there are also a lot of women who didn't get a call back and report rape out of spite.

Why don't you start with google and see how far you get. I have not been to Europe or Africa but I have lived in spent 20 + years abroad in over 10 countries on 3 continents doing social work and have been a human rights activist all my life. (not that that's a lot but it's far from stationary) I pay attention to various countries human rights trends and records and try to pay attention to the difference between media hype, cultural bias and reality.

For example South Africa is pretty famous for having a huge rape problem. Here are some examples:

I guess it's not part of your agenda to acknowledge that it is possible for there to be both more crime reported and for it still to be a lower percentage of the total. What if 100% of African women get raped and only a small fraction report it?

It is very difficult to get accurate stats on something that people generally do when no one is watching and go to great lengths to hide, even the victims.

For example everyone masturbates, but we don't know that from reports and if we had to rely reports for that data we would see the "masturbation rate" run identical to it's level of social acceptability in various cultures.

In countries like Dubai for example where women can go to jail for reporting rape (since they are also confessing to fornication) I can bet the "rape rate" is very low. In countries where false rape claims are an excellent and effective extortion tactic you will see them a little higher.

It's pointless to speculate, but you can be sure as human nature is a constant, that whenever people can exploit others with impunity they will. So I would be surprised if good ol' Russia didn't have it's fair share of issues, and since official statistics are the last thing anyone would believe from Russia it's pointless to even speculate.
