He accidentally shoot 3 times

It's because they never do anything with just one or two cops. I've had 6 cops at my front door because they caught someone else using my identity. In a perfect world, what you are asking for might happen, but LA is not a perfect world and the cops here get more training than most police. Shit happens, if you are tased and keep going, then grab a gun, every cop out there will react the same way, shoot the idiot! Doesn't matter how many bullets after the first one does it? In that video, you can hear the Taser. All these people that think it's the cops fault, plain and simple, you don't want to get hurt by the cops, don't resist arrest. They are trained to hurt you, they are trained to protect themselves. If someone grabbed a gun that was on my hip, I would kill them! If you are at the zoo, are you going to climb the fence into the lions cage? If you see a Hell's Angle, are you going to kick his bike? Are you the kind of person that spits in the wind? Ok, this is sounding like bad bad leroy brown Those cops didn't see a black man, they didn't see a mentally disturbed man, they saw a human being that was a threat, both to themselves and others. |

Kinda like these 2 little old ladies delivering newspapers in Torrance, LAPD thought they were a 6'3" black guy so they just started firing into the back of their truck. LAPD should have told them not to resist. http://www.pslweb.org/liberationnews...in-dorner.jpeg |

does the guy who was just released from a psychiatric institution who screams down the street and stabs several people want to do that? no, not really but he is a slave to his psychosis. does the paranoid schizophrenic want to freak out and loose his shit when the cops show up? no but he does as he too is a slave to his disturbed frame of mind. like i said, not everyone has the mental capacity to not resist when being arrested. |

He got shot for causing a problem that required police intervention, confronting police, refusing police orders, refusing to submit to police officers, being tased, and STILL going after a police officer's firearm. I understand this guy had mental issues. However, that doesn't make it acceptable for him to do whatever he wants. These police officers just prevented a mentally ill with a long history of violent confrontations from arming himself and shooting at police officers and the general public. |

The video shows what it shows and we comment on what we've seen. Those are the rules. The cop in the video at the end says all he needed to say to make it a justifiable killing. 1. He was suspect. 2. He reached for a gun. Period. That is not a high enough standard in my personal view and I shared it. I stand by it 100%, even though I COULD have baked a cake instead and avoided the whole thing. |

I think there is a cop problem, you seem to have a problem with that. |

they said it may have missed him. what was the reason to shoot a guy on the ground? :disgust stupid piglets |
I'm amazed people seem to be unable to zoom out a fraction and see the larger point the OP and others are stating. Must be a thought process thing.
Fuck the mentally ill, sling them on the streets, then when they do something idiotic, due to you know, being mentally ill, the cops can justifiably shoot them dead, and problem solved. w t f, that's how it is in the land of the free and the home of the brave? Nobody here knows someone mentally ill? Surely Rochard must, he seems to know every other type of person/situation out there. No relations? In-laws? Old co-workers? Acquaintances? Friend's siblings/offspring? Just zero empathy at all for another human being who wasn't born with the same mental faculties as the non-mentally handicapped, so fuck them just take a shortcut to culling? Fuck I despair sometimes. Cunts are cunts, but mentally ill people are *mentally ill* just like a person without full use of their legs is disabled, and you wouldn't expect them to easily run for the bus. Also, I don't think anyone has yet said that the cops shouldn't have did what they did, in that moment? I fucking hate the lot of them, and even I wouldn't be so biased as to think they reacted wrong to the situation at hand. Then again, I'm also not so myopic as to not see the point being made about ultimately getting shot for being mentally ill. |

My family is in the nursing home business. Luckily we dont train our nurses to kill every time a resident spits, hits, kicks or strikes with a cane, etc. We'd be filling hearses by the dump load daily.

Until then they are going to kill or get killed. It doesn't matter if you like it or not, that's just how it works in the US. |
