I cannot remember the last time I had fast food. (Pizza doesn't count!)

I think it was McDonald's about six months ago, my wife called and she mentioned she was on her way home and was going to stop off there to pick up herself dinner. I'm like "okay" and when she got home I was like a like a pig in mud and pretty much inhaled two little burgers. My wife looked at me like "WTF was that?".

Nice job man. I'm guilty of doing something similar after the same show one year. Saw some pics of me and HATED them heh. I ran and ran and ran and swam and biked and basically tortured the shit out of myself. Lost some more weight but still had a high bodyfat %. Save yourself from some of that and scale down the carbs and sugars some. You will get there faster I assure you.

Let me get this straight.

For one year, you were on a strict diet, 'jogged' 2 hours a day, basketball for 1 hour a day and then to top it off biked 10-20 miles. And that was just on weekdays. On the weekend you really went at it. And in about a year you lost only 30 lbs (a little over 1/2 lb a week). I call bullshit.

Oh, and that's not jogging. 20 miles a day at 5 1/2 min miles? Why not just throw in an extra 6 and change and enter the NY marathon. With those times you'd finish in the top 5 for US runners.

Losing 30 lbs is a great accomplishment and congrats. No need to embellish Mr Williams.

That's exactly what happened. I saw pictures of myself at Phoenix Forum and I said "Holy shit, I am a cow".

Truth be told I most likely lost more like sixty pounds, but also at times gained weight. For example, I was pretty much on the road all of September including two weeks plus in Europe with no exercise and a horrible diet. Mid December through the end of January was also pretty much the same - Because of Christmas, a trip to Vegas, Xbiz, then Internext and iDate in Vegas I was only home for six days out of six weeks.

I am not much into running these days; It's bad for the knees and my right knee has never been the strongest. So I intentionally limit my running.

The only upside to getting the flu or another serious illness is I tend to lose 10-15 pounds.

3 hours a day is a lot, that 3 hours really isn't 3 hours, when you stop your body is tired and there's a good chance you'll need an extra hour of sleep that night. The brain runs a lot better with lots of exercise, better blood flow equals higher brain functioning.

I spent the past year on a strict diet (with occasional pizza), cut out soda, and a daily exercise routine that includes an hour of running each morning, an hour (or so) of basketball, and biking 10-20 miles a day. I run and shoot hoops every morning before 9am, and then bike on my lunch break or after hours.

Nasty :disgust

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ketogenic_diet - High-fat, adequate-protein, low-carbohydrate diet

Lowering your body fat percentage should be the goal and gaining muscle mass
