I don't eat buckwheat, but other imported products have risen for about 20% or so, and that's very interesting because ruble has dropped the 2x times, while the import prices grown for about 20% only. But anyways it's all about the oil prices. What exactly sanctions are you talking about?

http://static1.businessinsider.com/i...18.01%20am.png

You must be real blind or a stupid one if you can't read the picture above. And where are your Obama's clown sanctions on that graph? Can't see a special line for 'em :)

I already stated "from what I've read" the sanctions are a primary reason for the uptick in anti-USA bullshit but instead of pointing me to shit to read that counterpoints that, you think this is some sort of gotcha. not to mention the tone of my thread also shows a disappointment with my learning that anti-USA resentment in russia is at an all time high right now.

all of which went right over your head.

no. yet again, no one here gives a shit about ruskies except the government. especially rednecks.

you think rednecks are BO fans?

dyna mo 03-11-2015 01:17 PM

so let's summarize the russian's posts-

russkies are so stupid that in spite of sanctions not having 1 single impact on them, they all the sudden are more anti-USA than ever because the state-sponsored television tells them to.

that's sure a lot better reason to hate.

russkie logic.

freedom!

Imagine if serbia wielded the power the United States has?

Rape in the Bosnian war pertains to the characteristic elements of sexual abuse in the ethnic clash between Serb, Croat and Bosniak factions in the Bosnian war. While on a lesser scale, women of all ethnic groups were affected, more specifically, rape was used as a systematized instrument of war by Serb armed forces predominantly targeting women and girls of the Bosniak ethnic group for physical and moral destruction. Estimates of the number of women raped during the war range from 20,000 to 50,000. This has been referred to as "mass rape", particularly with regard to the coordinated use of rape as a weapon of war. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) declared that "systematic rape", and "sexual enslavement" in time of war was a crime against humanity, second only to the war crime of genocide. The Kunarac case was the first time in judicial history anyone had been found guilty of these crimes.

According to Margot Wallström, U.N. Special Representative on Sexual Violence in Conflict, only 12 cases out of an estimated 50,000 to 60,000 have been prosecuted as of 2010.

Ethnic dimension
Early United Nations investigations concluded that "Rape has been reported to have been committed by all sides to the conflict. However, the largest number of reported victims have been Bosnian Muslims, and the largest number of alleged perpetrators have been Bosnian Serbs. There are few reports of rape and sexual assault between members of the same ethnic group." It has been claimed that "For the Serbs, the desire to degrade, humiliate, and impregnate Bosnian Muslim women with 'little Chetniks' was paramount." Women were forced to go full term with their pregnancies and give birth. Many of the reports of the abuses illustrated the ethnic dimension of the rapes.

The women knew the rapes would begin when 'Mar? na Drinu' was played over the loudspeaker of the main mosque. ('Mars na Drinu,' or 'March on the Drina', is reportedly a former Chetnik fighting song that was banned during the Tito years.) While 'Mars na Drinu' was playing, the women were ordered to strip and soldiers entered the homes taking the ones they wanted. The age of women taken ranged from 12 to 60. Frequently the soldiers would seek out mother and daughter combinations. Many of the women were severely beaten during the rapes. ? Seventh Report on War Crimes in the Former Yugoslavia: Part II , US submission of information to the United Nations Security Council.

just let me remind you that the war in bosnia was basically the whole world against the serb minority in bosnia...serbia took no part at all in the bosnian war...now the whole world either stood by and watched a minority of serbs rape the majority of bosniaks and croats OR your story is as full of shit as saddams WMD and the USA needed a reason to justify support of croat terrorist groups *who took over US Planes and tried to blow up the statue of liberty* but now all of a sudden they are good to go after a peace deal is signed :1orglaugh

on and how amusing is it to me that you are so very very very very desperate not to comment on the 100.000 rapes/year in the progressive progressive USA but have to resort to a 20 year old war time figure of 20K as admitted by the UN and over a 3 year period for all 3 sides involved and that happened in another country and not serbia? answer: you are the most amusing form of entertainment :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

amusing american will be amusing :thumbsup

After I started reading this forum my view about USA has declined. Although not the only forum with that kind of effect, but this forum has had the most impact.

Although our high school English teacher did warn about certain things, but it still shoots in the face every time. You just don't get used to some stuff.

Me? You have mistaken, I am not from USA. Not that I would consider it as a shithole: it was your words. US has many good things, or at least some things are done well.

We also got to the negative things. As a self-centered Americans, you are often referring other places as shitholes. That self-centered stuff is one of the things those really shoot in the face. I was literally thinking just that when I posted my message.

I have stated it already, just look below my nickname. I also haven't been hiding it that much anyways.

Okay, okay, I make it easy: I am Abhdul Kamala from Somalia. Kamala is also my middle name.

You can't read coordinates? I am actually disappointed that you don't know where I am from. I am going to blame the self-centered stuff for this.

So, the discussion was about USA, not the place I am from, aka Somalia.

About the alcohol and suicides. Come on, Somalia is not even on the top.

Well they are 50 places ahead on that scale based on their current power. If they had US power, the scale would be different.

Well, actually the most alcohol consuming folk buy their alcohol from Estonia (much cheaper), but yes, we have fucking expensive alcohol. I don't know about the suicide department; but it is cold and dark in here and economy isn't doing that well right now (relatively). This was populated by us because the cold and dark isn't for everyone. You know, ecological niche.

I don't really know about the suicides; not my thing, but life in here has been historically quite hard, it really is not for everyone.

Education sucks? Now you are wrong. And as Russia is our nemesis number one, not that much are lining for there. Taxation is high as that is the consensus, at least somewhat. The whole starting point for the society is different than in US.

It's not about your tone. It's about your ignorance. The US sanctions can't affect an average Russian citizens just because:

1) They are targeting the Russian oligarchs personally. For example, I'm not an oligarch, so don't give a shit about them.

2) The commodity circulation between Russia and the States is just insignificant. In other words, the USA have not enough economical power to hurt Russia somehow. Take a look at this picture:

http://aftershock.su/sites/default/f...1%80%D0%B0.jpg

The USA there is only 3.8%. Sorry, but it's just nothing.

In fact the so-called US "sanctions". Works for propaganda purposes only. On both sides. Obama makes idiotic statements on how his "sanctions" affected Russian economics. The US rednecks are happy. Putin's propaganda TV is also happy to screen those Obama's statements to Russian rednecks with comments like: "See guys, all those problems with ruble are because of Obama - he is a motherfucker who you have to blame with that. This has nothing to do with Putin who made the Russian economics totally dependent on oil prices. Oil prices have nothing to do with ruble rate. Putin is a hero. Obama is an evil."

This how the US "sanctions" really work. They work as a propaganda for the weak-minded Americans and Russians only. And you my friend, is one of them. Because you were brainwashed too.

And it was a stupid message as usually, because it made Putin even more popular in Russia. Now clueless people here think that Putin's unprofessional domestic economic "strategy" has nothing to do with the financial crisis (which has started far before the "sanctions" or Ukrainian war conflicts). They blame Obama only. So who got a real profit from that "message"? Since when Obama got paid by Putin for participating as a clown in his propaganda shows?
