When someone in your family or someone close to you is murdered brutally, see how you feel about the death penalty then. It is a very effective deterrent. You have to remember, there are some people that just need to be killed outright.

I think there should be several options for executions, from firing squad, the chair, all the way to hanging. And it should be decided by the victim's family.
