Some of the old cam sites weren't so bad.

And to be blunt I've seen all kinds of people in this thread screaming about how much money they're earning and how they all know someone making a lot of money. But no proof has ever been offered to back up these claims.

But on that note I don't know what the current situation is in porn valley but there were /are webcam companies that paid /pay the girls to perform. Like me they told the girls how long they were going to be on, what was expected from them and how much it paid.

You know what also needs to be said,
Any girl that's been in this industry more than 3 months would say fuck it to the bullshit of having to sit in front of a webcam for 5 hours hoping to make a $100 bucks. When you consider that even an old woman can put an escort ad up on a site like Craigslist and make several hundred an hour also without ever leaving her home. Which is why in L.A. they'll pay girls at least $800 for boy girl work because she'll get between $300 to $500 fucking guys who mostly have small dicks and will wear condoms.

It's technically possible that a performer earned 15k in a week (maybe a huge whale blessed them) but that is about as likely as winning the lottery.

I've been at this a long time and I've never seen a model earn anything close to 15k in a week. Not by a mile.

There is a ton of competition for camgirls right now, everyone is trying it. Hotness helps, sure but it's communication skills and salesmanship that make the most difference, that and traffic.

The $20/day estimate is about right if your girl is just gonna go online and wait for people to come to her, yeah sucks if you live in an expensive country like the UK, but you are competing with girls for whom $20 a day spends pretty well. And those girls are working 3 or 4 sites at once to maximize their opportunity to get paying customers, so 20/day x 4.

With some kind of traffic strategy to deliver paying customers to her room, she can earn quite a bit more, and if she's getting a referral commission on top of it, well, it ads up even faster. (performer commission + affiliate commission)

Lots of studios do just that, pay the girls hourly. Fire the ones that lose you money.
A lot of these girls won't come back a second day if they don't know what they are going to make.

Don't know about CB, but I know quite a few MFC girls that make $2k - $3k a week, easily. But, as pompusjohn mentioned above, these are business-minded girls. They treat it (and rightly so) as a proper job, and not a hobby for some extra beer tokens. They're very good at what they do. :2 cents:
