Actually, the law didn't change. A law that was put in place recently was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. Big difference there.

As for the Koch Brothers (I guess you don't mention the huge amounts that people like Soros contribute to Dems)...they aren't the first or even in the same scale as what was done in the past in this country.

Ever hear of J.P. Morgan? John Rockefeller? Andrew Carnegie? They bought and sold the U.S. govt. at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th.

The Koch Brothers don't even HAVE the kind of money that those guys had (and spent) influencing elections AND the policies of the United States.

My point was (and is), that our country allowed itself to devolve like that. It was never the vision of our founding fathers for these political parties (ANY political party) to run politics.
And no matter what law is passed (and good luck with having the politicians pass any law that takes away money from themselves)...the money will still be there.
Right now it's totally illegal to bribe someone in govt.
Guess what? It happens every hour of every day.

"Laws" don't mean much to people in power. Every once in a great while somebody pisses off the wrong person and shit hits the fan. But it's very, very rare.

To say we have to "take money out" of politics is the same as trying to say the Earth should stop turning. It will not happen.
What we need are better candidates and people who want to serve...not rule.

Well let's take a look at where Jeb Bush's family gets their money.....

Well, when he writes the Bush one...THEN he will be telling the truth.
It's only lies when it's about a Democrat.

Surprising that two people from top tier politics are corrupt.
