Among Democratic primary voters, Clinton's fav/unfav score is 81 percent positive, 6 percent negative - almost identical to March's 82 percent-4 percent rating.

things like don't raise my ire. people making crass comments about me/my views and opinions does.

i saw the poll results.

here's some more from it:

But the poll also found signs that negative views of Mrs. Clinton are growing among the swing voters she would need in the general election. Among independents, the share of people viewing her negatively grew to 48% from 34% last month.

that's almost a 50% increase.

Her arrogance about the issue, and WHY it's an issue, is probably hurting her more than the issue itself.

Oh you should have heard the panel on Bill Mahers show last night (I love that show by the way)

Bill and all the panelists were falling over themselves to say this is a "non-issue" and nothing to it, etc., etc.
Pathetic.

If a Republican had done the same thing? Bill and his guests would have been screaming to the heavens. lol

The fact that it is STILL a weekly headline means that it is in fact an issue. Bare minimum, a major PR issue. Her fans may love her, that's fine and dandy, they aren't going to stop loving her easily. It's everyone else that is shaking their heads and those are the people that she is going to need.

i'm thinking it's gonna be real bad for the DNC when she drops out, complete disarray. combined with all the inroads Obama gave the republicans across the country. was reading how repubs have taken over seats and places at every single level of government under BO's watch.

complete disarray? no. the biden ego is starting to fire up. the vaccuum hilary leaves behind wont last long, it was her machine that kept everyone on the sideline in the first place. bunch of pussies in that party afraid to challenge her. the real question is who will be the kingmaker? hilary, by endorsing someone, or obama, by endorsing someone?

that IS disarray for the DNC. don't you think? i think so. if BIden's the DNC's next up, that's a problem. frankly, it's all a huge problem for them now in light of Trump. the guy is fucking on fire and really so are conservatives across the country. read these but prepare to be stunned

its just blind hate on their part. there is a lot of hate brewing on the left over trump. left wing violence is just around the corner.

the dem party has been falling apart for a long time. i see what your getting at. It comes back to that parties entire leadership are people whove lived on legal money, or union money, or state government job money, where their whole mentality is detached from capitalism, of earning money, competing for work. all dems get pensions, somehow. union pension, public employee pension, whatever. so they have no clue about struggling middle class families. & they take the womens vote, the black vote, the latino vote, for granted, & play the race/sex cards to keep them in line. just like the repubs, they are for sale, just to different constituents than the repubs.

the repubs are just as detached, just the money sources are private sector wealth, wall street lobby cash, the good old boys network. none of these people give a fuck about voters except for 1 day. Then they sell their votes for cash & blowjobs.

im suprised trump is so populist. i didnt see that coming, figured he'd be more of the wall street type. But i guess the NY labor unions kept him open minded.

Trump is winning because he's a populist, the dems are losing because they are at the moment, not popular, and have not been under Obama.

that Trump rally in Mobile AL of all places? why would he hold a rally in Mobile? because it's a midway point for people to have a reasonable distance to drive to attend. 30,000 people came from across the entire South to see him. Repulicans and dems are both quaking in their boots now.

Why is Donald Trump holding a massive pep rally in Mobile, Ala.? - The Washington Post

Shadexpwn 08-23-2015 08:35 AM

The first female president will be following the first black president.

A turning point in American politics as it will be something completely fresh that we have never seen before.

Never been any more fun as it's better than the same old garbage that normally occurs.

Time for something new :).

I watch the presidential race like being at a casino, it's fun and this isn't your ordinary race.

ilnjscb 08-23-2015 03:46 PM

Repubs would love for Hillary to go down - it won't happen. Think about it folks - do you want a republican house, senate, and president?

Keep telling me Media Sanders will win.

"CARVILLE: It's just mostly stupid media people talking to other stupid media people making stuff up and spinning themselves up on something that's not going to amount to a hill of beans. By the way, I'm looking foward to the Benghazi hearing in October. We should see how many questions they're going to ask on Benghazi. What they need to do is just calm down and, you know, enjoy the race. There's going to be some interesting politicking coming up and it will be fine." Carville LOL! This guy is amusing but he has a point.

Robbie 08-23-2015 04:01 PM

Well, Biden had a meeting behind closed doors with Elizabeth Warren.

Looks like the Democrats are getting ready for "Plan B". Hillary fucked herself (again).

The DNC likes Sanders about as much as the RNC likes Trump.

Biden and Warren as a team could take out Hillary among Democrat voters for sure.

Not so sure how it would go down in the national election if it were Biden/Warren VS Trump as the 2 ruling party candidates.

One thing is for sure. If Trump becomes President it really would be "Hope And Change" instead of business as usual.
He isn't taking marching orders from anybody.

Not sure if Biden/Warren can make that same claim or if it would just be a continuation of Obama-ism. I wouldn't be able to form that opinion until Biden jumps in officially and starts campaigning and making his promises.

ilnjscb 08-23-2015 04:05 PM

Biden/Warren would be a tough ticket for HC to beat; but that is the only way Biden wins the nomination over her. I'm guessing it will be Trump / Cruz if, and this is a big if, Trump can keep it going. Instant hero worship falls hard, and if Trump is conclusively shown to be anything other that what he claims, he'll lose the luster.

Robbie 08-23-2015 04:41 PM

Agreed. But as long as Trump keeps saying "yeah, I am...so what?" it's gonna be hard for them to pin anything on him. God knows they have tried.

Maybe if Hillary hadn't tried to hide who she really is then she wouldn't be in so much trouble. :(

I was thinking something similar when Jeb took a shot back at Trump ..., "damn, not a great idea to start name calling with the guy who doesn't care what you call him, will own it 100% and who will then say absolutely anything in return"

LOL. Quite a few of those were BS but the chains and the Indian accent comment had me laughing out loud.

Robbie 08-23-2015 07:17 PM

Biden is also famous for having to drop out of the Presidential campaign back in 1988 when he plagiarized other people's speeches and then lied his ass off about it.

The media doesn't mention that at all...even though it was the media who took him to task for it back then.

If there is one thing I always take into consideration is to never count the Clintons out of anything. If she does well in the Benghazi hearings and they end up not finding much of anything with the server she will come out of all this fine and still have plenty of time to repair the base before the primaries start.

Right now if you turn on Fox they are calling for Hillary to do 20+ years in prison. Over on MSNBC they are talking about how this is all a big nothing. The reality likely falls somewhere in the middle. If that is the case, Hillary could walk away from all of this unscathed.

good point! goes to show that new york republicans are almost undistinguishable from moderate democrats. the only right wing new yorkers are upstate redneck gun nutters who still use the N word. NY republicans are really democrats who are business people & favor business interests.
