what would give you that idea? i don't believe in all that stuff - i just find people who claim there is nothing beyond this existence as naive as those who believe in 'all that stuff'.

humans have limited intelligence, we've been here 200,000 years - you'd think we'd have come a lot further in that amount of time. a good part of the world still can't feed itself. the vast majority of our scientific knowledge has come in only the past couple of hundred years, a blink. in another 200,000 years should the planet and humans survive that long we'll look far more primitive and ignorant to them than cavemen do to us today.
