You call people losers from a keyboard - do you have the same attitude in person? And asking if you will have the same nerve to call me names to my face is a "insult/threat"??? It's not. I don't think my response to you calling me a loser was at all out of line and I stand by it, and I don't think that it's any coincidence that a company that enables mass piracy of content (which I recently battled publicly) is IN YOUR SIG. |

Threatening to cause bodily harm, from behind a keyboard, makes you just another keyboard warrior, which I have seen plenty of thru the years. I promote, advertise certain firms, I do not set their policies, your fight is with them, NOT with me ! :2 cents: |

What if a website has been known to upload an underage photo here and there? Is that not your problem because you don't "set their policies"? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

At this point in my life, my son is grown, I've lived a good life, and I'd have no issue with bombing their CDN's or shooting any one of them, their wives, their partners, their children, their mothers, fathers, in the face. They've destroyed what I'ved worked so fucking hard for with no respect, and total disregard and for what? For pennies on what they could have made doing good business.
https://gfy.com/20483675-post69.html SIDE NOTE: It was an amazing 48 hours. The pool, the weather, the sex, the sex, if this is my last spring/summer I'll die happy. It's just past 7:30 and fucking GFY WTF. This is what I do while they are falling asleep. Mind you, I will blow the fuck up or shoot in the face the content thieves if they continue. I've lived a long full life, I'd rather die with honor than die a cheated sucker. Mark my words thieving fuckers, stop or I will hunt you the fuck down and kill you and everything you've ever loved https://gfy.com/20483766-post107.html |

Yes you responded and responded very professionally and this thread isn't about you and was not started to anyway attack you, however I just checked and MY content with YOUR watermark is still on your servers (and/or partners servers). So until you remove entirely the ability of so-called-users (your staff?) to steal and upload stolen material into your system you haven't fixed the problem. |

With the abundance of content theft, and the devaluing of everything from content to wages as a direct result, combined with largely ineffective legal means to permanently thwart piracy, it cannot be that much a surprise to people that producers are reaching the end of their proverbial rope. Right or wrong, I am frankly surprised a rash of violence has not occurred long before now.

:thumbsup Hit me up on Skype: CallTomNow ( sorry no camera or mic just txt ) In preparing for my case, for months, I documented what the uploader did in my members area, how he knew when the updates were so quickly, where he uploaded to, etc. etc. After he found out that I knew what he was doing he sent me an "anonymous" email. Big mistake. After everything was well documented, my attorney made contact. I'm not sure if it was the fact that I cracked his NL proxy and got the local VPN used or the fact that he has standing in his community, regardless, he got an attorney. After that attorney got all our documentation, well he's not the guys attorney anymore. Now we're on attorney #2. There is a lot to my case and a lot of detail missing here. After months of documentation, we're on a couple months now of backdoor negotiations. It's extremely frustrating at times. I will say this to uploaders. You're not as anonymous as you think, and the "organization" does not give a fuck about you, they will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat. I don't care if you're an uploader with no money in the Phils or Thailand, a tube owner in the UK hiding behind an NL proxy, or a piracy forum/blog aggregate in Spain. We want you to stop and until you do we will put each one of you to task, one by one , no matter how long it takes, until you stop stealing from us. You have decades worth of stolen content from this industry you can recycle for YEARS and still make money. Stealing content less than 6 months old is being greedy, stealing content within a week of publication is what motivated me to do what I'm doing now. My guy has a lot to lose. I dont' say this lightly. He has a lot to lose. After the "organization" found out he'd been tagged, they replaced him, now I have a few new identities to juggle around. They don't care what happens to this guy, they only care about stealing my weekly updates. They absolutely don't give a shit about any uploader. My case could have been over months ago, but I don't want to settle with this guy until we get specific information that will help further the cause. I want information, or I go public. Either way, we still get information. I've been in the media before, on television, interviewed at televised press conferences, and for online publications, and I have no issue doing it again. This is organized crime, not random users here or there uploading a video they like. I never have, and never will, go after a random user that uploaded, then stopped after being asked. Not my style. Long term loyal members are the life's blood of our business and I truly appreciate them. |
Aiden - how have you been? :winkwink:

I don't understand the philosophy. Once your site Is jam-packed with (stolen) content why do you need more? I wish more people would realize this fight benefits all of us, not just the Producers fighting the good fight. |
Quote:
Telling everyone you're going to do this and that means nothing without action. You want to take on pirates then good on you, fight the good fight my man and let us know after the fact. Quote:
You guys need to focus your time and energy on making more money. Want to go after someone stealing your content, pony up the cash like MetArt does and sue them. |
|
Quote:
Many content producers had that same philosophy until incomes dropped 30% or more because they didn't focus on the theft, and didn't realize it was organized. So you own a car dealership and a thief keeps stealing your cars. Each week you buy a new car, and each week he steals it, but you keep focused on making money to buy new cars, and your insurance quickly replaces each stolen car. One day you look across the street and there are all your stolen cars at a competing dealership. The dealership is 10x's bigger than yours because he was stealing from 10 other dealerships as well. Now he has the biggest dealership and the most variety to offer prospective customers. The content creators left need to focus heavily on the theft now. It's not easy, but it will pay off in the end. I'm all for fighting piracy, it's the keyboard warrior attitude of "I'm going to post real names and addresses" all the way to the "shooting you in the face" that is just ridiculous. Quote:
Stop with the empty threats and do something about it, then post about what you did not what you're going to do. Just like those who start threads bitching about a company or individual that wronged them, changed the min payout to something ridiculous, a processor who also owns paysites and groups xsells together, whatever the gripe but refuses to name names. Put up or shut up :2 cents: |
Quote:
There are a few predictable triggers that indicate who they are, and there's really no way for them to mask those triggers if they want to continue being effective and stealing new, or fairly new, content, even with their multiple accounts. In talking to a few other producers in the past I was surprised at how many just ban a user they find is pirating. It's best to use what I call "passive protection". You watch them, record what they do, learn from them, and adapt your strategy. |

I whack moles and they stay down and others DO NOT pop up right away - fighting piracy of your content WORKS. Anyone that spends the time and effort to protect their intellectual property knows that keeping your stuff exclusive and unseen will directly increase your revenue. When you say fighting piracy is whack a mole - producers read that and they don't even try - this is incredibly damaging. Content Producers who do nothing to protect their stuff are a HUGE problem, it gives carte blanche freedom for thieves to run hog wild I read so many otherwise intelligent people saying things like "If you just spent your time working on shooting forgot about chasing pirates you would end up more successful in the end" This attitude is what empowers pirates to continue their leeching and wholesale destruction of the industry. Also the biggie is "The people who pay for porn are a totally different consumer that people who torrent" While this has some element of truth there for many types of content it's not true at all. The more targeted and specific your material is, the more rare, unique, or sought after your content is - the less this is true. My content is rare and highly sought after and the exact same guys will gladly pay me or pay a filelocker or do torrents. I see instant and direct results from takedowns. This industry is systematically LETTING piracy happen through complacency and inaction. When you guys throw up your hands and say "Well there is so much piracy nothing you can do to stop it" BULLSHIT. I go after them with private investigators, lawyers and shit storms of DMCA. And they stop, they stop NOW. When you are a small company with highly specific and highly in demand content - piracy is DEVASTATING. I have some pirates that probably make as much money as I do with my content, the few who refuse to stop will regret it and I am not talking about shooting them or beating them up, street justice can take many forms and I am smart enough not to land in jail. You assholes chose to make DMCA impossible so the gloves are off now with regards to a couple of my worst offenders (pretty sure 2 of them are here on GFY) I'm sitting here looking at photos of them - full Names, Address, DOB, moms address', GF's address, DL - backgrounds, employers. You think I won't serve papers to your moms house so she can read the whole compliant and know what a scumbag you are? You think I won't drop a file on your GF's table at starbucks or show up at your wedding (yes she instagrams your entire life) and make a scene? You think I won't walk in and have a talk with your boss about what you are doing with your work computer on company time? Non-standard forms of fighting pirates don't necessarily mean violence or killing. But if I caught someone in my house stealing jewelry they might not survive, and this isn't a whole lot different. |

I had a roque uploader threaten me personally after he got a form email asking him to stop, it's a violations of the sites TOS, etc. He thought he was being sneaky by changing part of his name & address on his signup info. He's a closeted morman in Utah that works for a government agency :1orglaugh:1orglaugh The "pirate" culture has misled so many to think everyone is so easily anonymous and there are no repercussions for what they do. It's a shame. |
aden so sexy when mad ;)

I never understand why people get all judgemental with others for being rightfully furious if they are getting screwed.
Would you say the same judgements things if a mugger stole a woman's purse And the woman or someone gave a beating to the mugger? I believe in an eye for an eye. now , major physical harm is a bit much for piracy but for sure if the victim were to get their their property or payment by illicit means id feel justice was done. The legal system is a sham for thsoe that dont have the major financial means to hire qualified legal counsel For a long battle of legal bullshit. So should the victim just roll over If they cant make headway legally? is that what everyone telling him to pipe down Believes? I regretfully abide by our legal system but I feel for people in this situation as I've been there And its a result of having no other means to make right What was stolen / cheated from you. |

one reason for the piling on and name calling is that some of them are either all out pirates or in bed in some way with pirates. They are making money from piracy but because they aren't the ones actually chopping watermarks they think they are innocent bystanders. Like the lovable GFY favorite JFK who is advertizing in his sig for a company that at this very moment has material stolen from me (my watermark chopped replaced by theirs) on their sites. But hey he doesn't set their policies right! Have fun at the shows toasting to what a good year it was while the likeness' of my models is racking up sales for you hahahaha Cheers! |
