intredasting thread
|
I've done Private Label and White Label deals in the past were there had to be a signed agreement that there be X Months notice if the domain was to be used for something else.
To give/get the highest possible payout the risk of having a site pointed else where over night is an issue. Not sure why they are asking you to hand the domain over rather than just sign an agreement. Personally I'd want a signed agreement with regards to how long they will be holding the domain should they want that level of control of the domain etc. |

Your domain name is one of your most valuable assets, or at least it can be.
Consider this: If you are going to get into the adult arena or expand on what you have, your domain is the target of all of your hard work. You build it, you drive traffic to it. It is what your customers trust when spending time and money on it. Never, never, NEVER, transfer ownership of your domain to any 3rd party just so you can use their program. If their service or software is powering your site and they want ownership of your domain, negotiate with them to keep it both, or find another service provider to partner with. |

Just when you thought you've seen everything, you stumble upon a thread and you see webmasters giving their domains away to a third party lol
Anyway, can somebody confirm what "whois adjustments" are necessary for revshare? |

I never thought I would defend cambuilder on anything. But check the bottom of this scrnshot.. This is step two, right after choosing domain..

Do EXISTING members log in via the whitelabel? Otherwise, I don't understand why the WL would be important once someone starts buying minutes. |
As if surrendering your domain to CamBuilder weren't enough – their revenue reporting and payouts seem to be rather sketchy as well.

Streamate/Cambuilder is simply protecting themself from an affiliate moving their domain away from their PPS white label, before they've had a chance to recoup user's spends. Almost all other cam programs require revshare only on their white label, at least Streamate offers multiple payout options. |
we are on revshare and didn't have to transfer over anything, we were just asked to put in their contact info into the whois

We think you traffic is from spam, we are keeping your money and you domain. Thank you very much.
|
Instead of transferring your domain name to CamBuilder... Transfer them to me.
I'll give you a cookie. |
While everyone is here, if they pay per signup then revshare is that only on customers that are not anywhere else in their system (other white labels / own sites) or anyone new to your own domain?
|
While everyone is arguing about transferring domains, the fact remains that the guys who do SERIOUS webcam revenues couldn't care less about the domain requirements.
If you care that much get a new worthless domain. Ultimately your traffic matters, not the domain. |

The affiliate has the options of; 1) Accept their rules. 2) Move on. All I I see here is, the little fish telling the whales to do as they want and bitching when the whales don't. |

My issue with the customer for life as a webmaster (and I make great money from those lifetime customers) is that I do things a little different and often get money out of people that don't typically spend. If half the world is already a member that severely limits my earning potential. |

They are good people only that they convert very hard !
|
What I want to know is why they can't show you the traffic without using Google analytics, pretty stupid in my opinion. I don't even think that things track right, it's so hard to tell
|
I recieved this once from Bonga
Hello, According to our new terms if you would like to work with your WhiteLabels this way you need to transfer it to our account on namecheap/godaddy |
nothing new with bonga and domain transfers either :)
