She definitely has more than enough experience in what not to do as president, gotta give her that. :D

EliteWebmaster 06-20-2015 04:19 AM

I would rather cut off my left testicle and vote tea party than to ever vote for Hilary.

I like Bernie Sanders, but I'm not into the ultra-socialist thing. There is some socialism in this country and I believe it's good, but he's a too far off the spectrum.

But the main thing I like about Bernie Sanders is that I see a genuine person with genuine beliefs who is not a puppet for some rich guy.

I used to be sure that Hillary would win, but now I'm thinking Bernie Sanders may win. He seems pretty damn smart.

One of Obama's pledges was to remove us from two wars, and for the most part he has done this. However, in hindsight this has turned out to be a bad decision. He doesn't want to send tens of thousands of troops back into Iraq because the Republicans will quickly say "He went back on his promise to us".

This needs to be about doing the right thing, not about constantly attacking the other side. This is what it has come down to - The person in the Oval office is nothing more than a target, the opposition will do nothing but attack every decision made and spin it as bad.

I saw Jeb Bush on the news the other night saying "We need to fix the economy". HUH? Last time there was Republican in office they utterly destroyed the American dream - I mean, people were loosing their houses left and right. That was Jeb's brother. Now we need another Bush to fix our low 5.3% unemployment rate?

Politics is all about spin. I can't wait for this election.

this!! good post!

Simply put, Hilary would make a bad president because she wants to be president for power rather than wanting to be president to make the country better. Her sole purpose since Bill's term ended was to become president. She thought she had a chance 8 years ago but Obama ruined her plans. She doesn't love America, she loves what America will do FOR HER

I'm afraid you're right but I don't believe the country is ready for a Bernie Sanders.

He was in Denver over the weekend and they had to turn away people because so many showed up (over 5000) and the local media either ignored it or put tiny stories with headlines that read 'Sanders delivers condemnation of business', which was completely misleading. Conservatives are already attacking him with the communism word so things are heating up.

Hillary will be ten times worse than Obama. Bernie has more intelligent ideas than all of the others put together.

I think Bernie would be great for America even most Americans unwilling to vote for a socialist. Unfortunately, most Americans have no clue what a socialist is. They don't accept or understand that America already has a lot of socialism such as social security, medicare, roads and bridges, public schools, the armed forces, airports etc.

DAMNMAN 06-24-2015 08:46 AM

By good president do you mean lining her pockets and those of her contributors with massive amounts of cash? If so then yes..... she'll be a great president.

tommy730 06-24-2015 10:59 AM

We tried a black pres, now people want to go for a female pres, let's just cut to the chase and lower the age of running for pres to the late 20s/early 30s and actually get some YOUNG BLOOD with fresh insight and real future-thinking in there to run shit right. Time to speed up evolution already.

People feel more comfortable with someone who looks at a cell phone as a new age novelty making the decisions on where this Country heads to in the future?

Ok i am pretty shocked by the poll results. 37% says 'yes'? What the hell is going on here? She is literally the most corrupt Washington puppet (yes, that is a fact) out of all the candidates. How the hell she has this much support is pretty mind blowing. Do you guys get that much propaganda? Or are you just trolling?

Here is the logic behind why some people like Hillary.

The only other democrat is a socialist. For many people that word alone is enough for them to not want him to be president. Others think he is too old or simply think he can' possibly deliver on what he promises. I'm sure there are other anti-Bernie ideas out there I can't think of.

On the republican side you can choose from Cruz, a guy who is so set in his ways he would rather shut the government down than negotiate and he is so religious he starts off many of his speeches with talking about God and some of his appearances have actually turned into prayer meetings. For some people who make their living selling pictures and videos of people fucking, the idea of a guy this conservative and religious in the White House is scary.

Trump is the wild card. Since he has never held public office before we have no track record to go on as to how he will vote on things and how he will react in certain situations. As time has gone on we can get some sense of what his presidency would focus on including immigration and the economy, but there are many people who think he lacks the temperament to be president and he will have a difficult time dealing with other countries who don't won't just give him what he wants. Fear of the unknown is a big thing. For as much as people talk about wanting change, they really don't want change. You can look at the last election as proof. Going into the election congress had a 10% job approval rating. It was historically bad and bad is not even a good enough word to describe how poorly people thought of the congress. Yet they had a 95% re-election rate. So those same people who claim to hate these people and the job they are doing voted for them.

So your options are: The Socialist, The Religious Nutjob, The Unknown, or Hillary. When you line it up like that Hillary starts to look good to a lot of people.

Robbie 04-30-2016 05:25 PM

The original question from last year in this thread was: "Would Hillary Clinton make a good President"?

That is very subjective.
If you don't want change in any way and are happy with the way our country has gone (wars, debt, sluggish economy, lifetime bureaucrats holding all the power)...then "Yes" she will be exactly as good as the last several Presidents have been.

Rochard 04-30-2016 05:51 PM

I will vote for anyone other than Trump, so yes, I would vote for her.

I'm not fully in the Hillary camp. There is just no one that just screams "I am the right person". If you give me a choice between Trump or Hillary, then I vote for Hillary. If it's Hillary vs Cruz, I would vote Hillary. If it's Hillary vs John Kasich.... I might just vote for Kasich.

Robbie 05-01-2016 12:14 AM

I have no respect for Kasich at this point. He looks like a delusional fool.

If you don't like Hillary or Trump, then look at other candidates (third party). Find a person who holds the same ideas that you do and vote for THAT person.

This was never supposed to be only a choice of 2 party's in this country with a death grip on the Presidency between the two of them.

Joshua G 05-01-2016 12:24 AM

how would she be a good POTUS if she is a terrible candidate. even with a rigged process she can barely beat a no-name socialist not even registered to the party. losing to a rookie 8 years ago still hasnt convinced people she is a loser. Hello!

If we are being fair, being a good candidate doesn't mean you will be a good president. It can show some skills that you will need to use to be president, but really being a good candidate means you are able to get people excited about you and what you are saying.

Bernie is doing very well with young people because he wants to make college free and right now we have an entire generation of people who have been told since a young age to go to college. So they did just that and now they have mountains of debt and since our economy collapsed they have had trouble finding jobs in their chosen fields or for that matter that will pay them a decent wage even if it isn't the chosen field.

Obama was a great campaigner. The guy was a rock star. He drew 20,000 people everywhere he went. Has he been a great president?

Personally, I think Hillary will be Obama 2.0. Most of her policies pretty much fall in line with Obamas and she has taken so much money from special interests that she won't be able to rock the boat too much for fear of pissing them off. Will she be terrible, great, or just average, there really is no way of knowing at this point.

Not that this applies fully to Hillary, but if you were hiring a programmer to build a piece of software for you who are you going to hire, the guy who has a dynamic personality that makes you laugh and engages you with some great stories, but has little real world experience in the field and limited training, or the guy who is dull, boring in the interview and nearly puts you to sleep talking to him, but has a resume stacked with impressive work history and training?

It doesn't, unless you want the current course to continue - her work history embodies exactly what's wrong with politics today and why people vote for ousiders.

While Bernie appeals to millenials he's still far off from the more traditional anti establishment voters that are likely to vote Donald.

How many of the earlier anti establishment voters will the Donald be able to get to the voting box can be a deal breaker.

Robbie is so persuasive on this point that in 2008 I voted for Gary Johnson. I didn't want Obama or McCain. People were saying, "he can win 5%". He won 1%. I really did feel like I'd wasted my vote, though that is absurd. In the intervening years I've learned a lot about politics, met many politicians one on one. Now I want stasis. I don't want any of them to get what they want, because it isn't what any of us want.

I just read this thread up to your post and had to quote it. It's so on the money especially with the race bait comment and keep promises. Almost every single anti trump person calls trump a racist and it's just media lies.

I mean jesus, hitlery is captured on video barking like a dog and the sheep still hold her signs and wallop with cheers. Her smile scares me and she fingers herself every time someone dies when she is involved.

Yes, because Trump hasn't done anything at all to make people think he's a racist. Totally innocent and the evil media just makes up the stuff that comes out of his mouth.

Let's be real, sure you can excuse it away one maybe two times..but the guy keeps on keeping on with his hints of it here and there.
