On an affiliate sale we pay 50% to the model and 30% to the affiliate = 80% :2 cents:

Affiliates get a generous split of the profits without the liability for operational and development costs. The affiliate's cost is only in the marketing and SEO activities of a website he owns to get the referrals to send us and other sponsors.

We bear the hosting expense of our white label products and get no benefit from any branding.

So yeah, a smart affiliate, with minimal investment, can make the lion's share of the profit from his sales. We, as a cam broadcast site, make money on our own house sales mainly and spend a lot on AdWords and ad buying to be constantly adding new customers. Customer churn (attrition) is a problem for a cam site as well as its affiliates. Our customers go into the same ''black hole'' that affiliates are always whining about -- we get shaved too by customer churn but we accept that that is part of the business.

Bump for an interesting thread and that I'm too tired to read through it now.

Would supplying the cam girl with traffic act as any sort of incentive to get her started? Let's say that as a cam girl recruiter, you also had a large supply of your own cam traffic. You could direct some of that traffic to your cam girl to help her gain exposure and earn more, assuming she can at least get the traffic spending money.

I don't think the old insurance company mantra: "hire in masses, train them in classes and keep on their asses" will excel in this business. Instilling a work ethic, and more importantly; to develop a marketing drive in a cam girl's attitude is what brings success to many models. "I wanna be a 'star' and drive a new BMW (before my tits sag :P)."

I tried to get studios involved in something along similar ideas -- marketing knowledge was the stumbling block with the studios -- don't get me wrong some do this but it is generic-- their models are on multiple cam sites. That is allowed and we make concessions toward this arrangement. However, the deal has to be exclusive promotion to our website exclusively for me to be proactive -- I can only spent time, effort and money promoting XloveCam and associated web properties -- that is a given.

That is one way... Using a camgirl blog network is another way get more targeted traffic to the model's room. I have a not-so-current (prototype - lightbox) blog network that could be used by a recruiter's models -- we developed the software network a few years ago. If someone has good conections or seo traffic for models we might make them an interesting offer https://gfy.com/images/icons/lightbulbdg.gif. Recruiter -blogmaster?

If you think you are that person IM me or e-mail: b.grayhttp://3mp1r3.cam500.com/img/boards/[email protected]xlovecam.com with a proposal that makes sense ...

We've been building a system that would tie in great with what you just mentioned. Right now I only promote Streamate but would love to add an additional WebCam network to the mix. I'm going to add you to my Skype and will contact you when ready.

Perhaps you say this because you worked with female models. I am sure boys also do not like to work :)

Who pays lifetime referral?

ClickCash does. We pay a lifetime revshare (min 20%) for users you recruit, and we do also offer a lifetime revshare for model recruits + $100 bonus once the model hits 120 hours.

But yes, getting models to "stick" can be hard. The biggest barrier to entry really is the age documentation process for some of them - which is why iFriends has been working to streamline that process and get models online asap. After that, it's all about traffic. That's why we recommend to our affiliates that they drive traffic directly to the models they recruit. Those RevShare percentages add up!

please tell me if im wrong, but it doesnt say anything about getting commision for the models earnings if you have recruited her/him.

it just says you get $100 (with conditions attached)

but it says

"we do also offer a lifetime revshare for model recruits"

i didnt see anything about this.

if its just $100 - its not really worth it - is it - especially considering the conversion rate etc which has been discussed.

I wouldn't have thought this would make a difference to their pay checks, so probably more than likely, the model has simply forgotten they signed up to the cam site or logged in for 20mins, had no joy & went to another site. A possibility :2 cents:

You could email each of the models! Talking from my own experience, some may sign up with good intentions, then forgetting the site & signing, only to continue with other sites they're already signed & making money with :2 cents:

Everytime I go to my buddies strip club at least one girl asks me about camming and that's basically what I tell them. Put the work in=slow build to mad profit but most since no following don't make as much as the pole the first few times and quit. I've turned away plenty cause I know how 90% of them will end up=me wasting my time on a flake. :2 cents:

Strippers are worthless. Why? Simple in their minds why would they want to work at home where they have to buy their own alcohol AND wait a week or 2 for a check when they can get drunk every night for free, suck a few dicks, then go home with cash?

That pretty much sums it up. They would rather do the nastiest shit you can think of for 5mins or even 30mins then work 2-3 hours for the same money.

I quit messing with recruiting girls years ago for that reason.

I did find the best girls to have were the ones that really didn't care about the money but just wanted and/or needed the attention. Problem being those are getting harder and harder to find and they never lasted more then 6months if that.

Seeing these sites saying they actually pay a lifetime referral % now makes think about getting back into it. Always did love watchin my hoes work hard to make me more money :pimp
