Don't you find it interesting that every country which ranks high in media freedom reports one way while Russian media reports the complete opposite? How many different media outlets have to say it before you concede that just maybe the Russian media isn't telling the truth? :)

There is no solid Russian media as you are used to think about it (the freedom of speech is not just a word, in contrast to the USA it's really works here). There is a federal media, controlled by Putin and translating his point of view. And there is an independent media which is in opposition to Putin. I do watch and read the opposition media only, because I'm not interested in Putin's propaganda (never voted for him, never supported him and not interested in his propaganda "news"). More questions? :pimp

P.S. As you can see above, I have commented on the Ukrainian news and also posted a radio interception made by the Ukrainian secret service (never published by Russian federal media). So you can't call me a single-sided pro-Putin agent. All the materials used here were taken from the Ukrainian sources and all of them prove that MH17 was shot down by the Ukrainian citizens. Even the Ukrainian secret services prove that Russian army was not involved. Russian militaries are not that stupid as Ukrainian Cossacks. They don't use incomplete "BUK" systems and they won't confuse a civilian jet with the military one.

Everyone should calm down and simply note that Russian artillery units are firing into Ukraine in order to ensure that rebel units who presently hold urban positions, (which would result in too much destruction to be overrun), are not fully encircled and, starved out by Ukrainian regular army units.

Sure they do it. Personally I don't support any interventions into another country. But they follow the logic similar to the one used by USA and EU that did the same in Libya and Syria. They also thought they support good rebels that fight against the evil government. To be honest, in contrast to Libya and Syria, the new Ukrainian government is real non-legit one because it has got the power via coup/revolution (which is a regular thing on the Ukraine). Also they are far not that radical like ISIS which is backed up by the USA/EU in Iraq, Libya and Syria :2 cents:

Because there was an Ukrainian jet fighter which imitated the escorting. They never did that for civilian flights. Only military transports were escorted and the rebels knew that. As it was written in the tweet I posted above, the EU plane with a lot of people must be shot down over the Ukraine. The flight was guided by the Ukrainian air managers right over the war zone and the scenario was realized. So it was a 100% provocation. Doesn't matter who sent the missile - the Ukrainian rebels or regular Ukrainian army. In any case the world will blame Russia. And this plan worked out even better than expected.

This is not a Nazi WWII footage. This is 21th century. And this was committed by the Ukrainian army against the Ukrainian civilians. Course the local people will do anything they can to shoot down the military jets. Wouldn't you, if you'd live there? This is a real civilian war and it's a bit stupid to blame Russia for that.
