Hopefully you are laughing because I am far away from "lazy sleepy, etc". My texts are more like a bit to the aggressive side, not to sleepy.

If you are laughing because US is some "North-Korea" and thus my question very odd, I don't get what is the funny part in it.

Well, then you can probably answer to that exactly question? But actually the discussion was more about redirects than some spying stuff, which was done long before internet. As well as redirecting people, but in a bit different sense.

You managed to post just the same kind of vague stuff than before. We have had news about Snowden too, by the way.

Finnish is written with big letter at the beginning, except in Finnish.

You didn't yet answer to that simple question. Yes, we have forests. It is very good thing. Sleep well on Eastern European plains.

And based on your messages; you don't even know where I stand. Well, I haven't exactly said where I stand, so you have filled gaps with your imagination. Why you post that stuff? Why you post those links? Why? Don't you think I read news? What are you trying to prove to me?

klinton 07-20-2015 11:41 AM

and the question was ?
"So, it would be fool to think that governments aren't doing what? Exactly?" ?
I really dont understand you man :)

Yes, that is the question. Very simple question. Though not presented to you in the first place, but you seemed to take opposite position, so it kinda came as a question to you too.

So, it would be fool to think that governments aren't doing what? Exactly?

That is very broad question, but yet no answer. Shouldn't be that hard. Let me give example: "It would be fool to think that governments aren't painting kittens as pink." If you don't yet get it, that question was counterargument for presenting vague "accusations". I know very well that Bladewire meant spying, manipulation, etc., but he didn't say it, excluding that redirecting stuff.

Leave that vague stuff for Whateporn. He can say just "government" and we know that by that he means aliens, lizards, illuminati and that sort. But in generally it is good to say more than just "government" and to expect that everyone nods their heads approving.

Social manipulation. Everything below, taken directly from the Snowden documents. This is reality, not assumptions or "what if".

People who say they have nothing to hide, it's not about being innocent or guilty of anything, it's about social manipulation of the worst kind. Your privacy is important so you can be manipulated less. End of story.

--------

The UK intelligence agency GCHQ has developed sophisticated tools to manipulate online polls, spam targets with SMS messages, track people by impersonating spammers and monitor social media postings, according to newly-published documents leaked by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. SOURCE SOURCE

aka123 07-20-2015 12:22 PM

"monitor social media postings"

"I" have done (automated service). To track posts with certain brand name(s).

"to make automated postings on several of the social networks."

Many people on this forum do like this.

My point is that these sort of things are not so extraordinary things after all. It depends how those are used.

They are all on the table and being used. That is the problem. Do you understand?

Yes, but I also said "how those are used". Besides, not everyone is using those methods mentioned in that article. For example I don't think my government does. Well, maybe that social media tracking, as it is ordinary stuff in business, so I guess our police uses it too. At least we have internet police or two (that amount is not metaphor).

It really depends about the methods whether I see it as a problem or not, and by who does it. In here any secret service than our own is bad guy if it spies us. Merican agents may be heroes in movies, but in here they are criminals. Unless it is some co-op with our government. So I can agree straight away that spying by US or UK is problem in here. Though Russia's spies are the biggest problem and newly China's.

for gods sake. I spent 10 minutes of my life, selecting for you few dozens most important docs from 100's of them.
If you would spend at least 10 seconds of your life to read any first few links that I posted, you wouldnt post the same shit every post.
Why the hell I posted these links ? jeezus fucking christ:helpme:helpme:helpme

Yes, I asked too why you posted those links. It doesn't make that much sense. There was little new to me, so I guess the shit I post isn't going to change regarding this matter. But hey, maybe those links were helpful to someone else, don't fall into despair.

This isn't what the governments are doing. You need to think bigger and worse. Much bigger and much worse.

So do you think they shouldn't view online sites to find who is viewing terrorist sites?

Monitoring phone calls for keywords?

9/11 happened because we weren't looking hard enough.

The flip side of the coin is the bad guys get ahead.

clickity click 07-20-2015 11:42 PM

911 is a convenient excuse, they were doing it long before.

duk75 07-20-2015 11:53 PM

They do it to avoid revolution.

klinton 07-21-2015 12:40 AM

there is a difference between targeted surveillance (bad guys) and MASS surveilance.
bad guys are already known to police and secret services in 99 % of cases. so why not to target just them ?
9/11 happened because we weren't looking hard enough.
actually I think its quite the opposite. just like anthrax mails in US that were failed false glag operation.

No the perceived bad guys are not all known or controlled, unless you're suggesting all the hackers, Snowden, etc. are allowed with forknowledge, or are we talking about other "bad guys"
