If you guys want to get your estrogen under control and actually do something about the plight of lions then you might want to figure out a way to reduce the population of sub-saharan Africa because that is the number one threat to lions. Lions are not going to become extinct because middle aged white moronic dentists go over and shoot a few. By far the biggest problem is habitat destruction and shit stains in Africa who poach these animals. Since 1980 the number of lions has been cut in half and in the next 30 years the population of sub-saharan Africa is projected to double. the issue here is that the shooter most certainly knew of the implications, issues, problems, risks and concerns of trophy hunting lions on the border of that park. $55k to shoot there v $12k elsewhere, why do you think that is? becuase of those risks involved. the fucking very lion he killed was wearing a tracking collar to study that very problem. the tracking collar the shooter left behind after he continued with his trophy collecting by cutting off the lion's head and skin and taking both of those with him. but he dindu nuffins, it was the other guy.

I think we all agree this guy is a scumbag. my point is the anger most people have in the situation and the attention this guy is getting is due to an emotional reaction to a lion being killed. This is the exact same gripe I have with the middle aged hysterical hens who freak out the moment they see a dog in a car. The vast majority of these hens will never lift a finger to become involved in dog rescue. Their version of dog rescue is being a parking lot drama queen and scolding people for leaving their dog in a car for a few minutes. Meanwhile the people who bring their dogs with them everywhere they go tend to be the best dog owners. The basket case emotional estrogen fueled reaction to seeing a dog in a car does absolutely nothing to help animals it just serves to make the stupid humans feel better about themselves. They can go home and tell the story and act like heroes. In this situation people can make posts calling for the head of this dentist and it will do next to nothing to help the plight of African lions.
