I did mate. Want to know the best of it tho? Sanchez was my captain but I figured Leicester at home are tough to beat and Sanchez hasn't been performing well so far.

I went with Haz as a diff gamble as i thought CFC had turned a corner but nothing new just getting worse each week! City have been a total let down given their fixtures Aggy should be killing it. seems without silva he just doesn't get the service.

Awful fantasy football season so far for me, thankfully my fun bets are doing a lot better (100% profit, though I've laid out that profit on 3 bets today... couple of singles and a treble) - obviously it always takes a few weeks for all teams to settle at the start of every season, but fuck me week 8 now and chelsea are still hit and miss as to when they are going to find their groove. Spurs but for being robbed on opening day by man u would be 2nd on goal difference, so that's another jaw dropper.. man u doing better than I thought they would be this season... leicester and west ham players racking up the points in dream team land... and gotta feel for bournemouth's Wilson injured this early in his Premiership career

Great week for that guy, but I SMH that he sat Kolarov and played the other defenders. It worked out, as Kolarov only had 2, but there's no way in hell I would've sat him and played a Bournemouth defender of all people.

Game Week 8 Complete:


Wow what a week for high scores most don't get over 100 unless it's a double GW! Seems the FPL has started to return to normal service after a very strange first few weeks with the big hitters coming good. Aggy scored 5 goals vs Newcastle and Sanchez also has 5 goals in 2 games. Arsenal totally destroyed ManU in the first 20 mins with LVG looking clueless.

CFC are in total turmoil after losing 1-3 to the Saints. The Jose interview after the game was really embarrassing 7mins of totally cringeworthy stuff. We also have a big manager change last night with Rogers being sacked by Liverpool and it will be interesting to see who replaces him with Klopp and Ancelotti the front runners.

We now have an international break so we are all hoping our players make it back with no injuries. Aggy and Sanchez both went off this GW with slight injuries so the 2 week break will be good for them to get fully fit for the next GW.

Ouch. I feel for ya man, I had Sanchez as my captain last week and played tripe captain but then changed it to Martial because I thought Leicester would put up a bigger fight than Sunderland would, big mistake.

Ash, you nailed it this week mate, can't believe you scored 110 points but still not the top points scorer, pipped by 1 point, crazy haha.

I had an average week, forgot to change my captain which cost me 14 points so I'm a bit pissed about that but otherwise I'm still in a strong position. Just made 2 transfers today as well, cleaning the team up a little bit for after the Internationals.

When I heard Aguero had 5 goals ( I only watch the first 45' of course) , I thought right away "bloody Ashley probably has him as a captain! "

Just be carful making early transfers in the International breaks because price changes and injuries can really effect your team after 2 weeks out!

Another big week of games this weekend, some great results. I watched a lot of games this weekend and figured I'd give my take on some of them.

Arsenal - cruised to a good win, first half they were sloppy and not so enegetic, second half they dominated and should have had more than a 3-0 victory

Man City - Although they won 5-1, they still looked sluggish IMO, none of their goals were amazing, Sterling played well and De Bruyne is pure quality but they still have some passengers in that team that they need to ship out.

Man Utd - Great win for them against a tough Everton team, first and third goals were defensive mistakes but you still need to take the chances. They still look a bit short in midfield and need another creative spark, it can't all be down to Mata but they are improving

Chelsea - didn't catch much of the game but I saw the goals, first one was a horrible mistake OR great closing down by Willian, depends how you view it. Costa getting a couple of goals is going to be important for them, he looks fitter and sharper than he did the first 5 weeks of the season. Hazard benched is very interesting, he could stay there for a while if the team keeps winning.

Some big players missing this week too so the points scoring was all over the place but still most people in the league had a good week.

Forgot to pick my team this week before I went away for the weekend... another shitty week lol, and don't think I'd have done any better anyway. All but given up already this season... dismal!

I was just looking at your team/score there, wasn't the worst this week... some of the guys in our own office had disasters, been giving me a lot of amusement all morning so far :1orglaugh

All change at the top in the past couple of GWs. A triple cappo card played to give us a new leader at the top! 40 points separating the top 10 after 12 weeks which is crazy :upsidedow

Seems week after week games are getting harder and harder to predict especially with the inconsistency of City and the unstoppable form of Leic. Spurs and United seem to be pretty set for consistent results with Arsenal faltering with a large list of injuries. Great result for pool last week showing real signs of Klop bedding into life in the EPL.

Vardy will be going for the 11 goals in 11 consecutive games this GW against united which will beat Rud van nestroy's record.

Been a while since an update but...

Game Week 18 Complete:


The FakeTaxi is pulling away with a pretty nice lead coming into the last GW of 2014. After the weekends results things are still throwing out some random results. Leic dropped points against Pool with Pool's form being the weakest of the two teams. City looked strong but they are like a roller coaster this season and losing Kompany again surely wont help them keep any consistency. United haven't won for 4 straight weeks losing 3 of them with CFC up next. This could well be the last game for LVG if the team doesn't show up again. CFC without Mour are still struggling after a draw with Watford but from what i saw they looked a much better side without him. Arsenal crashed back down to earth in dramatic fashion getting thrashed 0-4 by the Saints who had not won a game since late November!

Xmas the games come fast with lots of rotation likely with teams picking up knocks and players needing rest. United - CFC and Leic - City are two top games for us this round.

2014 has given us a great first half of the season so a big thanks to Ross for putting it all together. Don't forget to stop by at Traffic Force to get some great deals on your desktop and mobile traffic :winkwink:

If there was ONE team performing week in week out in the Permiership since the start of the season, they would have had the league almost won by now. It looked like Man City after maybe the first 4 or 5 weeks, but they are just too inconsistant. Arsenal are the same. They would be fools not to buy 1 or 2 top quailty players in Jan, but knowing Arsene that just won't happen. Man U are shit. Chelsea are worse. Liverpool are still not title contenders. Never seen a season like it before. Record amount of money spent in last Summers transfer window. Not one team who has shown to be truly class since August...

I must have missed 4 or 5 gameweeks already lol, I suck at teh organisationing :D

Game Week 26 Complete:


A four horse race at the top of the EPL with Leic still 2points clear with Spur's & Arsenal close behind. Man City lost their 2nd home league game. It was the first time since 2008 that they lost back to back home games! ManU got beat by Sunderland so surely its only a matter of time before LVG is sent packing!

The Traffic Force FPL league is pretty open at the top with under 50 points separating the top 6 after 26 weeks which is pretty amazing to see! Good luck all for the next game week :thumbsup

Good post! Very fun year. Seems like the game has evolved quite a bit since I last played which I think was during Nasri's last season at Arsenal. More stats, a more efficient scoring system, more analysis. It can be pretty addicting.

FYI - I pulled the total values for the Top 6 teams but then realized that the numbers are kind of bullshit since they reflect the Total Current Price of each team rather than the Total Selling Price. I think a more accurate representation of Real Total Value would be Total Selling Price + In The Bank but those numbers aren't public. Seeing as the numbers only kind of tell you what you're up against and therefore are not entirely useful, I see no harm in sharing with them with the competition. Here you go. :thumbsup
