Kinda yes, but I don't know about the pain, but does feeling pain matter anyways? If feeling pain would be bad thing I think it wouldn't be such common evolutionary trait. Most species are hunted by some predator and still they all feel pain (despite of 99,99 % dying feeling pain). Why? Because feeling pain promotes survival. And as we speak about hunting, I don't think that feeling pain is some counterargument. Similar counterargument would be "Those try to run away." No shit, I wonder why (sarcastic)?

And the notorious chickens feel pain too, no matter are those bred for food or not. Would it by the way make things different if someone is bred as a slave (children of slaves)? Would slavery be then more OK? You know, you would be tagged from the birth. Categorization seems to make people feel easier about things; like when you label someone as "criminals" it is suddenly OK to do all kinds of shit to them.

Someone hunts non-dangered animals and you get some sudden feeling of being humane and wish painful death for someone. The thing is, that such wish and being humane don't quite apply.

Other people use this "smart one" as reason not to hunt/ kill something and you use it as a reason to kill/ conflict pain. Many other animals too know what they do, but I don't see how that matters a pig shit worth. We don't have truly free will and even if would have, it wouldn't make difference. There is nothing wrong in killing; our whole lives and ecosystems are from top to bottom; killing.

Cannibalism has of course been common in our past, but not within societies. And there are natural limitations towards killing our own specie. But anyways, we are attacked every single moment, as our body goes on ever going struggle against foreign organisms. I wouldn't want my children to die for any reason.

Killing/ not killing doesn't define good or bad person. What defines is what you kill, why you kill, how you kill and how you treat others in general. Sadistic wishes towards others doesn't exactly count as a good deed.

Would probably sell it if the right price presented itself. Funny thing is I've sold aftermarket .com domains anywhere from $900 to 6 figures over the last 13 years or so yet every domain I've ever used for one of my own sites over the years (currently 40-50 sites at the moment) I've always been able to think up a decent enough .com domain and hand register it or pick it up expired at $8. Think the most I've ever paid for any domain is like $50-$100. So guess I'm good at turning $8 investments into 4-5 figure aftermarket sales yet I'll never buy an aftermarket domain for my own use. :1orglaugh

What if killing "happy" free one there is less sad ones? Especially as the happy free ones die anyways, as do we all. Whether you shoot those or not, those die anyways. Most smaller animals sooner than later, with bigger animals kinda depends about those other predators (other than humans). What about happy free ones predators? Humans control the amount of other predators. Shouldn't there be more happy predators? Like wolves, bears, mountain lions? In US of course (as you keep telling this being so Merican board). What about poor local US "Cecils", what about those? Or do those perhaps enjoy about hunting, etc. and needs to be hunted down? Only kind and happy herbivores should be spared?

Those are farmed to be eaten. We don't kill them for fun.
