I just read an article that said at some point they closed off the tunnel. Seems strange that a tunnel would be closed off without clearing it first.

Were there a lot of tunnels closed in fear of bombs and mines? That's the only reason I can think of for doing that.

Yeah the Germans made a fuckload of tunnels in this area in the mountains. This part of the country used to be Germany, not Poland. As for the tunnel, I would imagine they closed it off with the train inside specifically to hide it.

Anyways, for now all we know is that it's an armored train and it's underground and has been located using some radar imaging shit.

Actually that is how it works, atleast here in Sweden. If you find a wallet and it contains cash and you turn it in to the police you are entitled to a 10% finders fee.
