Don't even own a laptop. Picked a few up in stores but never pulled the trigger. Spend enough time on desktop at home and cell phone on the road. Might grab one someday but have resisted so far. :2 cents:

Laptop for all work, docking station plus dual 27's in my office and home just use the laptop monitor (rarely do much work at home these days).
Tablet for reading news and browsing web while in bed, never leaves my bedside. |
well, i have a desktop pc for all the work - this main pc is always "up to date".
And - i must admit - i have a lil' netbook (acer, i can only recommend them), when i go to clients. That's all i need. But really, i can't imagine going full laptop. http://i.imgur.com/jPEM9TN.jpg?1 |

Desktop for me, I don't know about you guys but I find it comforting when I'm in my chair and typing on my keyboard at my desk. I have a laptop but for the life of me, I can't type as fast nor do I feel comfortable with the keys on the laptop keyboard. The laptop keys just don't "hit" right when I type which slows down my typing speed. Hard to explain but I don't know if anyone feels the same way. Productivity is always down when I use the laptop.
Ipad mini is used mainly for playing games that I download from the apps store or if I'm traveling. Now if I only can find an adapter that streams ipad apps games to my desktop with audio and full functionality from my desktop keyboard, I would be in bliss :) |
Laptop- 100%.
I bought an iPad but only ever use it for an alarm in the mornings. |

I bought a Asus Google Nexus 7 Android 5 Lollipop Tablet last month.
Some of the Apps for it are great for travel. Some like Visit Paris ratp.fr - Accueil, Skype, Kindle, Netflix (small screen but viewable) work nicely. For other things (like real work) I prefer a PC or a laptop when available. |

I'm sitting here working on a spreadsheet with my laptop. Driving me absolutely insane scrolling up and down so much. On a laptop with a very high resolution this would probably not be as much of an issue, although you might be squinting after a few minutes, LOL.
I know a lot of guys love the laptop route, not sure how you do it! |
I have an iPad and an iPhone, but I don't get much work done on them other than checking e-mails or website stats. So much of my work involves simple cutting and pasting and that never seems easy on any touch device like a smart phone or tablet. I don't think I could do any real productive work on a mobile device today, because I'm faster with a mouse or using keyboard shortcuts with my laptop or PC.
If you want to simply stay in touch and stay on top of things 24/7 mobile device are great. If you want to be productive and get real work done, you need to have access to a PC or laptop. |
Mixing but mostly on a laptop
