Population of California this year is 38 million, if the page you posted is correct being that 6.8% of the population is illegal immigrants, then the total number is 2.58 million illegals. So how is link I posted Horse Shit? Everyone thinks Trump can't get rid of the illegals, it's simple, the federal law says you can't hire them, get rid of the sanctuary city ideals and stop paying welfare out to illegal alien families and they will go home on their own. |

You should see how much money goes to Mexico via western union each year from the illegals living here, that's not good for the US |

It took my housekeeper 16 years to process her family based application for permanent residency. Explaining how inefficient immigration process in the US is a waste of time to morons like Vndzilla. |

let me quote your link Although California has the highest number of illegal immigrants, Nevada has the largest proportion of illegal immigrants—7.2 percent of the state population and as much as 10 percent of its workforce. California and Texas follow at just under 7 percent of their populations, with New Jersey and Arizona rounding out the top five So I guess you are eating the shit! LOL |

Building a wall is a fucking ridiculous idea. Nothing but a huge waste of money. You think the immigration process is the same now as it was since the beginning of this country? Seriously? |
We don't need a wall. We need to get rid of the stupid ass "War On Drugs" started by President Richard Nixon, ramped up by President Reagan and every President since then.
That policy is causing all the violence. And we now have more of our own citizens incarcerated than any country in the history of the world. It's no different than what happened with alcohol prohibition. Just as bloody. Making organized crime wealthy. And all for absolutely no reason at all. That border was never a problem until the War On Drugs. And even then it wasn't a problem until the U.S. sent the DEA down to Columbia and destroyed the cocaine cartel there. That left a vacuum that the Mexicans filled. Then the shit hit the fan. Make cocaine legal. Let full grown adults put what they choose to into their own bodies. We aren't children. And the govt. ain't our daddy. Just like alcohol prohibition...once drug prohibition is lifted, the border problem goes away. Just like it wasn't a problem for 200 years before. |

Get rid of Sanctuary City Status and enforce the law that says no one can employ an illegal immigrant, period. Then stop all the social programs they leach off of. They will leave in droves! I do agree that our prisons are too full, I saw something on tv this morning about the prohibition. There's a couple bars in LA that were speak easy's I've been to them, kinda cool they are still around |

It does not need to be finished. There needs to be walls in high population areas and increased patrols in desolate areas. I have lived on the border and understand more about the region than you ever will. "the process doesn't have to be easier. It's been working since the beginning of this country." If the system is working why so much non-compliance? |

Citizenship should be hard to obtain? Is that the principle this country was founded on? I don't think so. And an article for you... Careful What You Wish For: Here?s What California Would Look Like Without Illegal Immigrants - The Daily Beast "A recent report by researchers at the University of Southern California, for example, says immigrants who are in California illegally make up nearly 10 percent of the state?s workers and contribute $130 billion annually to its gross domestic product." "The study found that the estimated 2.6 million immigrants who are living in California illegally account for as much as 38 percent of the agriculture industry. Farming insiders put the figure at over 50 percent. Illegal immigrants also constitute at least 14 percent of the construction industry. You?ll also find them well represented in the hospitality industry, landscaping industry, and just about every other line of work in the state that requires breaking a sweat." |

For most of us with with IQ above 60 "most" means at least 51%. You obviously don't fall in that category. Sleep tight moron. :1orglaugh |

About 3 percent of illegal immigrants were working in farming and related sectors, according to Pew, which was well below the percentage working in service occupations (33 percent), construction and extractive jobs (17 percent), production, installation and repair (16 percent) and transportation and moving (8 percent). A subsequent Pew study pegged the number working in farming and related sectors slightly higher, at 4 percent. Facebook post says "less than 2 percent of illegals are picking crops, but 41 percent are on welfare" | PolitiFact |
