let me point out 1 more thing. If you think VW is actually killing people by what they did, & you drive an early 70s truck (i think i saw a pic you posted, its very nice) then you sir are a murderer, & you should be prosecuted for the dozens, hundred of deaths over 40 years that you caused with your truck. my grandma died of smog. you killed her, right?

how do you like them apples! :winkwink:

I drive a 1965 truck, not an early 70's truck. And I have not come to any conclusion as to whether or not VW's cheat, or my 1965 truck's smog pollution, has actually killed anyone.

Based off your own logic you should be arrested for harboring a murderer in your garage :1orglaugh

you have also avoided, again, naming anyone who was harmed. just posted slanted yellow journalism which states, & i will put it in maximum font, maybe it will sink in this third time:

Statistically, we can't point out who died because of this policy

so...again...who died from what VW did?

Joshua G 10-04-2015 05:19 PM

& since posting 3 times did not get through, how about 10...

OK i will help you. you do not need to come to a conclusion as to whether VW's cheat...VW already admitted to it.

also your truck did not & does not directly harm anyone. The VWs & your trucks exhaust is infinitessimal on the overall scale of externalities wrought by human innovations.

this is my simple point, all along. nobody got harmed, with the exception of liberals who bought the car thinking it was cleaner than it was. Fraud is the big issue, not any actual harm to the environment or to people or animals or plants. there is no provable harm, just theories from the junk science crowd.

:)

My niece has a turbo Jetta and loves it. Power and fuel range. When I talked to her she was only concerned about where she now stands because Northern Virginia has emission testing. She doesn't want a slower version of what she bought if that's what it takes to comply with testing.

Does your truck use or require leaded gasoline?
