I've know him for a few years now and have various reviews on his site, and he is very responsive and attentive.

Sure Geoffrey is Belgian, and does not "waffle about" (pun intended), but I do understand his concerns about folks cloning his interface, which he has expressed to me many times in the past.

it's like saying someone cloned your TGP interface or Tube interface or Blog interface

I've done business with both, and in fact continue to do business with both, and have never encountered issues with either one. If anything, both just seemed interested in their own site and their own SEO efforts moreso than a competitors.

Frankly, I hope they both do well.

If there's one thing all of these years in the online business has taught me, is that there's enough pie out there for everyone to have a healthy slice of it.

I have been keeping an eye on all this Porn Lists's. And i can say his Porn List at the moment is the Best and gets the most Hits.

Why is his Porn List winning? Well it's simply the BEST.
Compared to all of the 20 to 30 porn lists around the internet.

His website is well built and looks very professional and keeps it updated.

The guy is very smart, and has a highskill in programming.



Now the thing about the iwantporn website.. Well it's good but not great. It needs too look more professional espically the graphics and some seo work done. It looks very cluttered. A new design and colors are needed.

iwantporn website has some features that theporndude doesn't have which makes it better in this aspect but its still not up there. Needs more work.

What needs to happen, is everyone needs to start checking out the other porn lists, and stealing their ideas, This will make your website better and beat competetion.

But it has potential to beat theporndude.. but not that close yet..

In fact there is better and new pornlists that can come close to beating him

I'm sure ThePornDude didn't exactly copy the other PornLists, But he did get the idea from the past pornlists.

What he did and many other people still do... Is he IMPROVED on someone else's idea.

I would feel angry also, if someone copied my website. But this is life.
Some other jerk comes around and copies my idea and does better than me!
Most times it's because he has a better skill then me.
So my own advice is to keep staying hard in programming to develop better skills.

Just look at the top 15 richest companies in the world.

They didn't become rich and powerful from helping people.

Wal-mart is an excellent example.

Taking advantage of millions or chinese, enslaving them, and selling americans them cheap products which break and destroying the american economy and environment.

They could easily afford to pay their employees a good wage. But they don't.

This is just the type of business world we live in today.

The big corporations are a big reason why the porn industry is suffering in sales, They are greedy and keeping all the money for themseleves.

The average person just doesn't have the money spend on porn, They don't make good wages.

I have a girlfriend who works at a bank, and she tells me that the average person barely has any money saved in the bank.

It's too hard to save when your wage isn't high enough and houses are extremly expensive.

So they have no choice but to watch free porn.

Looking at simillarweb dor com I see that ThePornDude as around 4 million monthly visitors while IWantPorn has around 600k monthly visitors. I don't know how accurate these stats are but I if were put in a situation to choose I would defintely go with the one that has higher traffic.

Still it's a shame that in an industry that does not do very well right now in terms of conversions for the small to medium webmaster , some webmasters are uding these shady and dishonest tactics...

Theporndude has more traffic - mainly because I lost a lot of links in the beginning.
But for me there is no reason to choose between directories. When I run a website, I can list my site whereever I want/can.

And the reason he is claiming his "rights" do use such tactics are just ridiculous.

He always says that I "cloned" his website, but I've done my site when theporndude even wasnt popular.
As I mentioned in a previous thread: I was surprised by the traffic TBLOP was getting (back then) and I submitted a site of mine there once. He agreed to a trade, but my link never shown up. And there was the point where I started my own list. This just has nothing to do with porndude..
