This is quite an interesting thing, because I already talked to some other guy running a porn list and my traffic/sales ratio is much better than his.

There is no doubt that theporndude has most of the traffic. According to some websites it should be 10x the visits than my sites have, but it would be nice to know how "productive" they really are.

He gets a lot via google, but also from lets say "dubious" sites. I don't think that anyone coming from a filelocker or torrent site will ever buy stuff online. Also, I think a lot of people won't buy stuff, when there is it free the next column.

Of course I can't tell his stats, nor would I like to post mine, but maybe others have similar experience who are listed on tpd and IWP? Anyone wants to tell the traffic-quality of those sites?:)

Which message did you get in webmaster tools? Even with sneaky redirects or other stuff your site would not disappear completely.

Fwiw, this sort of thing is hardly new. In the end, everyone has a choice. Site owners can set their rules and then the people they work with can continue to choose to do so or not.

Regardless of whether people think it's right or wrong, it's their site, their rules.

Ultimately, there's other sites to work with if one or more sites choose not to work with you.

That all said, I will say I have a tendency to dig in my heels when faced with an ultimatum. I'm pretty stubborn that way -- and sometimes to my detriment. I could see me spending a pile of money just to up the compete level if I were given an ultimatum. My competitive nature would kick into overdrive.

Anyway, good luck to all involved. I've dealt with a few people in this thread, including the OP, TPD and IWP and always found them reasonable to work with.

last night I did some digging and noticed copies of my site indexed in google (some even on top of my original results)

so I found a direct copy of my site as:

Website Hosting - Mysite.com
example: Mike In Brazil ? - Official Site

when you visit planhe.com directly, it shows NGINX error, but check it out AFTER you visit some subdomain (like my example below)

it will show:

To make you feel better. This site has nothing do with ThePornDude.com. They only want to clone the site.

They are trying to copy/scrape content from ThePornDude's website and because server is blocking them this message is displaying instead. It's a 403 server error. Check httpd headers.
