Fwiw, this sort of thing is hardly new. In the end, everyone has a choice. Site owners can set their rules and then the people they work with can continue to choose to do so or not.

Regardless of whether people think it's right or wrong, it's their site, their rules.

Ultimately, there's other sites to work with if one or more sites choose not to work with you.

That all said, I will say I have a tendency to dig in my heels when faced with an ultimatum. I'm pretty stubborn that way -- and sometimes to my detriment. I could see me spending a pile of money just to up the compete level if I were given an ultimatum. My competitive nature would kick into overdrive.

Anyway, good luck to all involved. I've dealt with a few people in this thread, including the OP, TPD and IWP and always found them reasonable to work with.

when you visit planhe.com directly, it shows NGINX error, but check it out AFTER you visit some subdomain (like my example below)

They are trying to copy/scrape content from ThePornDude's website and because server is blocking them this message is displaying instead. It's a 403 server error. Check httpd headers.

The porn dude approached me about trading promo tweets on twitter. I looked at his site and saw links to tubes with stolen content, torrent sites, stolen webcam streams, etc etc.. I promptly told him to go Fuck himself. That's right, Fuck you porn dude and your bullshit-ass website.

I started building on there, and while I did, I made my own version of it. Start pages are not history, they are very well perceived by visitors, it is cause of the clean outlook, the handiness, the total link experience, the subdomain system adds to credibility for the surfer, and the ability to have other webmasters also build on it.

It gives people the opportunity to create porn in all niches, and not having to buy domains for each of them. In return, you have to build, and build and build, and make something nice, cause when it sucks, people will never come back.

I had 1500 domains on Startspace, owner closed the page, 2000 plus on Startspot, and roughly another 5000 subs on other system. They are still doing very fine, anyone here who thinks it is old school, ya might be right, but the knife always cuts on both sides, so if you want, we can make this a hype again!

Anyone who is interested in running a start page, you can skype me, and I`ll be happy to tell you how it is done. And if you need proof that it works, well.... I am still alive :) so it must work in some ways, cause i still eat and pay the bills.
