And if you make it to Puerta Princessa, subterranean river tours.

Singapore. It's the most beautiful place in the world. Orchard Road is like Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive. Cleanest country in the world too.

I stayed at this hotel when I was in Singapore, it's amazing but this view in this photo is very rare if I am being honest. It's very hazy up there, most likely the smog. I loved Singapore, one of the cleanest Cities I ever been too but I wouldn't say it is the best place in Asia let alone the World.

I liked Dubai more than Singapore, weather is better, the city is easier to get around and there is a lot more things to do.

My fav place in the world is Bali, so far. It is absolutely beautiful with the best beaches I ever saw. Food is amazing and very cheap, high end beach bars all along the coast and some of the biggest DJs come to play at them at high season. There is a ton of stuff to do, you can get a driver for the entire day for $60, he will take you all around to see/do as much as you want.

The views in these photos answer the second half of the question.

People seem to find SG a bit boring. Well in terms of Luxury, SG rivals Dubai (maybe) but I consider HK is vastly more fun than both of them even though its dirtier, more polluted, older looking and so on. I love the Dubai metro and its really cool idea that they have a first class section - which is only like $7 for a full day.

Of course this all about the modern, developed world so I don't put it into the category of Amazing necessarily but they are all places everyone should visit.

The SG financial capital in Raffles Place is also like a modern day, advanced version of the Financial district in London. There's a real buzz there and just by standing in the middle of the square you can feel the pulse of Asia and how it is rising in the world.

Italy. Why? The art, culture, but most of all: the food.

Yeah I hear that more often. When we travel we like to travel around the country and see as much of the culture and nature as possible. I can only stay at a sandy beach for a few days, after that I just have to do something else

Oh another beautifull spot, Perhantian island Malasia :thumbsup

Very interesting photos in this thread

I climbed the Acropolis in Athens and walked the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. I have stood were the ancients of Western Civilization have stood. Been a lot of other places too but none were as impressive to me as these two were.

Guam tops the list for me. I discovered it by accident when I got stuck there for 3 days after missing a connection between Chuuk and Australia. I don't know exactly what it is but I instantly fell in love with the place and have been back three times since.

Each time I've been there I've giggled like a small girl from the moment I arrive to the moment I've left.

The six years I lived in Buenos Aires where the best in my life (so far) so I would have to say Argentina!

Thailand, especially the Northern part. First time I knew I was in a culture free from the West.

Easy - America.
I loved the place and the people so much, I *forgot* to go home...

Most beautiful place I've been to?

Well, I was born in the Philippines so I guess you can say I'm spoiled when it comes to 'exotic tropical locales.'

I would say VENICE, Italy. I'm a big Renaissance history buff and Venice is amazing.

davidclickpapa 10-29-2015 04:00 AM

so far, USA. it was both an appalling and an amazing experience for me, but over-all really positive.
i have LOT of countries in my bucket list to visit, pretty sure i haven't met the best, not even nearly.

NatalieMojoHost 10-29-2015 04:42 AM

I spent a day taking train rides around Switzerland. The train system itself was amazing, going through mountains and via cliff slopes, but what really surprised me was how much things changed from place to place. I managed to visit 3 cities in the day - Geneve, Lucern, Lugano... and going from predominantly French Geneve to German Lucern to Italian Lugano made so much difference. Later on as I visited more cities I got used to the fact that "the feel" could change so much within the one small country, but back then it was just amazing how different each location was.

slapass 10-29-2015 05:12 AM

Brazil - amazing beauty but it is huge so you can get it all. The best part is the people. Friendly, nice and pretty. What more do you want?

timmy5678 10-29-2015 12:24 PM

I can second that for Tokyo. The photos don't really do it justice.

I'm a seasoned traveller and I found the food, girls and general vibe next level. For me coming from rural UK its and extreme cutale change and i loved it.

Food 10/10
Girls 10/10 (gotta be prepared for hairy axe wounds though)
People 10/10 Friendly if you make the effort with some Japanese
Nightlife 10/10 Jezz been all over the world but man
Drinking 10/10 They can't do it but they try their best
Internet speeds 10/10

Tokyo used to be one of the most expensive cities in the world but the yen is so weak now (like 50% from back then). So is it cheap?
