Except the workforce participation for those over 55 has gone up, from 30 to 40%. It's gone down in the 24 to 54 age group.

Civilian labor force participation rates by age, sex, race, and ethnicity

So baby boomers have nothing to do with it,, people over 55 are having a harder time than they thought being retired and are going back to work

I never insulted you, you insulted yourself when you said double digit IQ ( Trying to insult me, that kinda back fired didn't it? )and you are the one that said we were talking about immigrants, not illegal immigrants, we were talking about illegal aliens so the USC findings mean nothing in this conversation, maybe except even they said illegal aliens were a negative on the economy.

Why do I have to keep repeating this? It's the truth, you shouldn't have to repeat it.

And you can't count either, I posted 3 links

You posted you had a 2 digit IQ in a failed attempt to insult me
We were talking about illegal immigrants and you posted an article about immigrants that if you had read it, proved my point.
Then when that didn't work, you posted something you know jack about from last month.

You truly are pathetic!!

Also you should know that HA's were used on the set and for advisory on the Son's of Anarchy.

I backed out when I answered your question with a picture, so your 2 digit IQ could handle it and you ignored it! Just because you ignore the proof I post, doesn't mean you're right, it means you have a 2 digit IQ and can't comprehend the truth.

Have a nice evening, I'm going to finish some work

The article is relevant. Doesn't matter if you understand why or how much silly shit you talk.

Doesn't matter if Hells Angels were used as advisors on your beloved Sons of Anarchy. The fact is you were totally wrong about colors and cuts and in trying to prove you were right posted a link proving you were wrong.

I did read the article. I also understood it, unlike you.

Hells Angels call their jackets "colors." Sons of Anarchy call their jackets "cuts", most likely because their patch is black and white so "colors" doesn't apply.

Right. So... The GOP is trying to manipulate the electoral college to work in their favor.

Your argument makes no sense at all. You are saying the Democrats are trying to manipulate the electoral college in their favor. But at the same exact time the Republicans are trying to manipulate the electoral college in their favor. And thus is the main problem with the Republican party - they paint themselves into corners they cannot win. In this case, either the Democrats get what they want OR the Republican continues to loose the Hispanic vote. It's win win for the Democratic party.

It's just like Obamacare. The GOP swore it was going to defeat Obamacare. Sounded great until the moment they almost defeated it - and millions of people would have lost their healthcare. Either way the GOP would have come out with mud on it's face.

Here we are again with Planned Parenthood. They will either fail to prevent funding for Planned Parenthood, or shut down the government. No matter what they loose.

That's why I'm neither a republican or a democrat, neither party is making sense these days. As far as the electoral college, it pisses me off that both parties are playing this and putting people at risk. In August I lost my best friend to a hit and run driver and illegal alien that had been cited 3 times for not having a license. Then they gave him a license in 2015. If it were not for the sanctuary cities thing, he would have been deported and my friend would still be alive. The only reason the democrats want the sanctuary city rules is because of the electoral college. That's why California has more illegal aliens than any other state. And it's not legal, according to federal law, you can not employ an illegal alien, Reagan signed that into law!

Maybe in the next 5 years, but I don't see it happening right now. The fact that it's the lowest since Carter and it's all 24 to 54 doesn't look good. I just get tired of the democrats rallying behind the low unemployment rate when clearly it's bull shit..

Baby Boomers are children born when WW2 let out up and all the soldiers came home and started fucking and they extended the years of calling them baby boomers until 1964.

My mom is a baby boomer. She is 70 years old. I'm a baby boomer. I'm 53.

I'm thinking that the majority of baby boomers who thought they might be retiring at 65 probably changed when the economy collapsed and they lost their savings (and in many cases their homes).

And people in their 50's are in the prime years of their earning potential.

Common sense tells you that when jobs aren't available...but the govt. is handing out money if you are unemployed, then you simply stop looking for work.

And common sense also says that if the economy were to start kicking ass again and true high paying jobs (not minimum wage jobs) were available and the govt. STOPPED handing out money to able bodied people...then those people would go back to work.

I think we are all over-thinking this. The answer is: Jobs.

The media doesn't need to do anything. Trump will flame out way before election time next year.

Anything which starts that fiery right out of the gate (especially in politics) can't sustain itself over the long haul. I'm talking about the strange phenomena of Trump's popularity and the bone-brained idiots who support him. They won't be around in a year, and neither will Trump.

let's check back with this thread next October to see if I'm correct.

Let the people decide for themselves. The media pundits realized how much influence they have over the last few decades. And now they are so arrogant and sure of their abilities...until Trump came along.

Now they are befuddled and can't figure out why they couldn't get everyone to vote Bush. And then they switched gears to Fiorina and that didn't work either.
They just can't seem to figure out how to get rid of Trump.

I'm in agreement with your sentiment.
Let Trump stand or fall on his own. He has already withstood a dozen things that would have pushed most candidates out of the race. And yet...he is still there and still on top.

I wonder how much bigger OR smaller his numbers would be if the press hadn't spent so much time trying to knock him down.
I have a sneaking suspicion that the majority of people are seeing what the media is doing and are "supporting" Trump just to spite the media and the Republican National Committee.

Florina was never going to get any votes. She just isn't smart, strong or experienced enough to be president.

They can't get rid of trump because too many dopes like him. But here's the thing. If I were the Kochs or other kings of the republican party, I would do nothing for now. Trump is already burning out. All the other candidates, especially Ted Cruz, are just playing the waiting game at this point. Trump peaked too soon, and Cruz and others are starting to see a way in.

Here is exactly what Trump said:

?When Mexico sends its people, they?re not sending their best. They?re not sending you. They?re not sending you. They?re sending people that have lots of problems, and they?re bringing those problems with us. They?re bringing drugs. They?re bringing crime. They?re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.?

He said "They're rapists". He called Mexicans criminals and rapists. There is just no walking that statement back, period.

Makes sense... :winkwink:
