When they shot it down, the acting General of the rebels posted on their official Twitter account bragging about shooting down a Ukraine troop transport and gave the specific location of the wreckage.

smart Ukrainians sent the Boeing to that place where shoot down the Ukrainian transport planes before?

There is no 'smoking gun'.
That said, it was a Russian built missile.

Hypothetically, if there was a Ukraine military aircraft hiding behind a civilian aircraft why the hell would the Ukrainians shoot down the plane they were hiding behind?

This reasoning is beyond stupid.

how much do you think the ukrainians have upgraded their military in the past 30 years? of course it's a soviet built missile.

there is a great deal of information that is obscured in this matter.

the reality of the situation is a commerical flight was approved over a warzone that had been enduring aerial bombardment for weeks beforehand.

that very warzone had operational military equipment that could target the very civilian plane the government insisted be flown at 33k feet, rather than the 35k feet that was requested.

Flying over a war zone was a bad decision.

I spent a lot of time on flights in Europe last month and 33K ft altitude was not unusual.

That is like saying she got raped because she wore a short skirt and not because she was in a bad area :2 cents:

Airlines are not flying over airspace in the Middle East now where there are any hostile actions (fortunately).

no idea where the rape metaphor thing came from.. pilots requested 35k.. is it usual to change that altitude when that is the only plane in a rather large area? i don't really even understand the argument. if i was on a plane flying over pew pew.. id want as much room as possible. or not even flying over it at all.

when this happened, they were flying over ukraine and not syria. after this happened, they closed ukraine and opened syrian airspace. not sure how long that was happening for however

why would putin, who runs a country that is untouchable, need to down a plane?

answer: because journalists need sensationalist shit to write about and the politicians need cheap attention :thumbsup

now go back to your silly debates LOL

Don't be so fucking dumb.. Putin didn't want them or order them to shoot down a civilian aircraft. The dumb ass rebels shot at what they thought was a troop transport but it turned out to be a civilian airliner.

No one is accusing them of purposely targeting g and wanting to shoot down a civilian aircraft. They did it by mistake but it was still with out a doubt Russian rebels who shot it down and it was Putin who supplied them with the weaponry.

Seriously can a single one of you Russians think for yourself at all? It's not real hard to look at the evidence and all the dumb stories Russia has made up, to realize it was very obviously the rebels.

I mean for fucks sake Russia had control of the crash site for months as well as all the wreckage and they were too stupid to be able to tell it wasn't a air to air missile and that it was 100% certainly a Buk missile.. Think about it.. You gonna tell me they didn't find any of the rocket fragments.. Get real..

No shit. That plane should have never been there -- they saved 1 ton of jet fuel and got 400 people killed -- idiots!
