Because she hasn't even been suspected by the cops to have burned anything down. If you have evidence that she burned something down, then feel free to share. Otherwise she is as guilty of burning something down as you are. |

Assault of a public official. |
I love the comments stating what else would you do?
This is a child / teen who is obviously screaming for attention, what I would have done is move the entire class to another room and leave that one there. Get the nurse / whoever to talk to her and ask her what is going on. This is not right, a child should not be man handled like that, not by anyone ever. School is for nurturing, not abusing - think about it. I do not know of any schools in AU that do this, they may but i've never experienced it in my schooling / family etc |
I don't like kids nor want them

The educational professionals trained to handle this sort of thing gave up and called the police. They had an 18 year old legal adult who it appears they felt needed to be arrested, removed from the classroom. Then the cop gets hit while arresting her and we're back to nothing good ever happens when resisting arrest again. "But Lott said both the student’s teacher and the administrator “felt the deputy acted appropriately.” http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.2412665 . |

The only time they commit it is when someone calls them. :1orglaugh |

The female student that cop abused is 16 years old. And they also arrested another student just for filming the whole incident. |

No one ever takes responsibility for their own actions that get them into shit anymore. |

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.2412665 Why don't people just behave like normal people? Who here has ever had to have the cops called on them in school? WTF? . |

On CNN, the 2nd student who the police arrested said the victim was a 16 year old minor...which is why her name is not being released. |

"The videos showed a sheriff?s deputy assigned to Spring Valley High School struggling with a 16-year-old girl who had refused to stand and leave her math class, after the teacher reportedly caught her using her phone. "

Someone should ask that question to the cop..he was the adult and the professional in this incident, yet he sure didn't act professionally. |

Again, the "victims" behavior is bad enough to have law enforcement called, then resisting arrest happens and the whole issue becomes focused not on the person who started the event but how it ends after resisting arrest. Who the fuck acts like this? Cops should just call the FBI and walk away. |

Cops aren't social workers. They are trained to take people to the ground when resisting arrest. If a different outcome is expected call someone else. "But Lott said both the student’s teacher and the administrator “felt the deputy acted appropriately.” . |

Resisting arrest? How do you know the cop even said he was placing the student under arrest? And what penal code did she break? From the video all I see is the cop going crazy. They would need to interview witnesses first to determine if the cop was even attempting to arrest in the first place. |
It's a 18 year old female getting thrown around by a grown man and half of you think it's her fault? WTF is wrong with you people!

I'm going by statements made by the teacher and school administrators. "both the student?s teacher and the administrator ?felt the deputy acted appropriately.? You are the one pulling plum colored bullshit out of the air. |

From the look of that video, it's totally reasonable for that student to defend herself. She was being physically abused by a male much larger than her even though she presented no physical danger to anyone. If the cop really felt that it was 100% absolutely necessary to remove her from the classroom at that very moment, he could have simply dragged the entire desk/chair outside into the hall way. |

It is her fault. Who else provoked the entire incident? The cop was somewhere eating donuts when he was called into school to remove/arrest her. Was probably career day and she decided to provoke everyone she came into contact with until she could sue someone. |

Yep, I am sure they'll be giving their unbiased assessment of the situation given that they called the cop into the room in the first place. |

L-Pink was the one who said the student was resisting arrest...one can only resist arrest if a cop is attempting to arrest in the first place. |

No, I quoted CNN and the NYTimes reports. You are the one who makes shit up. |

it's not the first time school administrators have used excessive force...and certainly not the first time for cops. |
