Does someone have to hit you in the head with a hammer ???......Open your eyes man...:eek7

Coke lays off thousands and no one says they are going out of business. Thats management 101 have less people do more. I worked for a company laid off a third of their work force and that was almost two years and they are still humming.

Another irrelivent fucking comment. Ok, If I call coke and tell them there was poison in the coke I bought will they ignore me?

If coke raises their price by $1.00 a can and every store quits carrying it would they ignore them?

Regardless of whether or not Ibill is staying or going the sorry fucks need to get off their ass and run their business like a,

get this......................BUSINESS!

tony286 03-20-2003 08:27 PM

I just checked I had rebills go thru today:)

tony286 03-20-2003 08:34 PM

Also you have to remember the integrity of cokes customers is much higher than adult webmasters .Coke doesnt have to worry about customers trying to cheat and steal from consumers. Promising them lots of Coke to only find out they paid for RC or promising free cases of coke to consumers to try, only for those consumers to find out they were charged fifty dollars for that coke. You forget the number of thieves and con men in our business. Third party processors have to deal with them and I respect that. If you are not happy with them get your own merchant account its simple if you are not a thief thats not hard to do.

second that.

I had rebills go through today with ibill and my scheduled rebills look fine. Are folks daying that ibll is refusing to process gay male sites now? I didn't quite follow that part of this thread. I'm pretty sure that sort of discrimination is illegal in a bunch of states, although probably hunky-dorey in Florida.

Uhhh,

There are surely a few others who are going very, very strong as well. I won't name any names though.

I've dealt with the same problems. They've been fucking with me for about 6 months....been a hassle trying to get my money out of them. Several times they've sent me checks that I never got or the wouldn't state the currency on the check...so I couldn't cash the them...and then they'd charge me for stop payments on bullshit checks. The other day after having enough with their checks I asked to get switched to wire...They told me to send them of list of checks that I wanted cancelled and sent as a wire....did that and the next day the fuckin' monkeys there wrote me an email and said all the checks were added up and one new check was mailed to me...I'm soon ready to take a trip to Florida, anyone who wants to join let me know.

This company is a fucking scam, I had one of the hillbillies call me told me 5 times that she has a site that makes 16million a MONTH I said a MONTH? It went all down hill, she also states she didtn know a steveZ *shrugs*

quiet 03-20-2003 10:44 PM

including all reserves + the Mar 1st to 15th period + my (now late) wire, ibill currently owes me over 500K. the rebills are worth much, much more. hmm.

tony286 03-20-2003 10:44 PM

I know I am going to get attacked for this, we never had a problem with money from ibill. People that have had problems are you sure you were doing everything kosher ?

That has to suck. Even if they eventually get you squared away the bullshit they have put you through after making them so much money is enough to keep me away forever. Good luck with all of it.

Maybe I am stupid, why would anyone generating over 25K a month use a third party processor? If you are making that kind of money you can afford to hire three people 30 k a year each to watch cc processing and do customer service around the clock.

you don't have a clue. i already handle customer service within my company - that has nothing to do with it.

tony286 03-20-2003 10:58 PM

Why dont I have clue? If you run your business honestly why dont you have your own merchant account. If you are not fucking people it shouldnt be a problem. There is alot less of a chance of a bank going out of business as opposed to a third party processor going under and if a bank goes under they are still your customers.

re: you're edit. scrubbing for fraud, the fact that i'm tied to ibill for at least a year if i left tomorrow due to the rebills (longer due to the reserve). i built my entire business with ibill, and i'm close to retirement. all are factors.

and i've always been paid by ibill. there have been delays, but i've always got every penny. so far (except for web900, which is a joke). in this business, anything can happen. i run things each day with that in mind.

But yeah, 3rd party offers some benefits if you dont want to mess with it... big fraud scrub list, customer support, easy/familar script setup etc.

But THESE DAYS, it's seems way better to bring this crap in-house. Maybe get a few different merchant accounts even and balance out all new signups over them just to be safe.

At your level anyway quiet.

Working with the right gateway offers all of the things you mentioned above including the fraud scrubbing, customer service, setup etc... and the customer data belongs to you.
