I get what you are saying. A true trangsgender person..lets say male to female has 0 interest in girls, so it is not like they will get off on being in there sexually.

The issue is, that it doesn't need to be everyones problem. They could easily install a small family changeroom for people in bewteen sexes, or people uncomfortable being naked in front of others. Instead now everyone has to accept something different, and go beyond acceptance, you need to feel comfortable getting naked in front of them as well.

courtney won't be back. she knows there is little to say to defend this. sure, trans people should be able to use whatever changeroom/bathroom they want but why are we as a society forcing everyone to change for the extreme minority?

why are those who don't feel comfortable with it asked to leave? what about their freedom, their choices to want to change with biological females only?

and how can you prevent abuses of this? you really can't until after the fact.

that's unfortunate. I'm open to the debate. it's a complex issue, certainly adults need to have their sexuality choices protected, but the issue gets complicated with circumstances like young teens in high school locker rooms.

Surely the only way forward is mixed changing rooms where everyone has their own cubicle

locker room is a very social environment. it's wrong to penalize everyone and remove that on account of ~1 kid. it's just bizarre to me we're all supposed to change social constructs and environments and bend over backwards to accommodate because a kid is confused about his gender.

I think to be equal we need a male, female, unisex, transgender and hermaphrodite bathrooms put in every building by law. But anyone can choose what bathroom they feel comfortable with.
