I'm also not getting paid from their Suite703 program. Their strategy seems to be not paying affiliates and ignoring emails about missing payments. Meanwhile, they go to E3 and showcase their VR offerings.

That's true that it's difficult to get payments from months but I've always been able to get them even with if they are two months late.

Wow did not know until I did a search on NA that so many people had issue with payouts.

Earlier this year I logged in and noticed I had like $8500 in pending payment. The checks were stuck and Scott told me that it was a bug.

Crystal was sweet and put together a 4 payouts installments. I still don't know why they could not simply send the complete amount in one check though.

Anyway since that time I'm watching more carefully the payouts and they are always late or sent in batch of 4-5 weeks period.

Last payment is from September. Now I asked to cancel all checks sent / never received or deposited and put me on Wire with a Threshold of $1000

Hopefully this will stop the mess with Checks! Especially that our bank freezes US checks for 21 business days (we are in Canada) on top of that. So add an extra month to access the funds.

Anyway I just sent an email to Crystal and hopefully this will be fixed by the end of the fiscal year.

Other than that, they always paid... 100k+

Can you share details of what happened when your account got closed? The industry really needs to know more about this. Did they ask you questions first? Did they just close without warning?

no something quick and cheap like Paxum, Payoneer or Paypal

international wire transfers are expensive and there's a lot of problem with them when they come from the US, money that sits weeks or longer at one of the US banks

they do pay, always, still they have some organizational problems
 

I believe they are honest about this Operation Choke Point. I've had some e-mail contact with Crystal about this. She told me that they just opened new accounts at a bank called Wells Fargo and are doing their best to fix everything.

Usually I get paid by check, but today I received $x,xxx.xx through PayPal, this also suggests their accounts indeed are frozen.

There have been delays sometimes, which can be frustrating, I have experienced this too. Still, I have always received every penny, and that is over 40k now.

They DO PAY. They really do. Crystal has always been very kind and helpful when I request a payment. :warning

After all, I´d like to give NaughtyRevenue's crew the advice to fix some important things:
1. Set clear payout days and stick to these (pay on time!), don't let people chase their money.
2. Add extra payment methods. Either Paxum or Wire is a must. Checks are not very popular these days, too much of a headache.
3. I've noticed that sometimes a join switches to Rev Share (60%) on a sale, which gives only $1.05 for a trial join. I've been told this is because the sale can't recur (e.g. someone paid with a gift card). But NaughtyRevenue clearly states "Earn $30 on every sale you send to us. This applies to all sales including trial sales!" (See naughtyrevenue-com/external-php?page=programs).

Their VR program converts absolutely fantastic. Please fix whatever is holding up, you're one of my fav converting programs.

might be a different situation than NA's but in the aftermath of the Pacnet/Chexx situation the US bank I used for my business closed my account.

It's kind of funny in retrospect (it takes a special sort to get dumped by a bank, my boys still tease me about that) but at the time it was pretty devastating. just like, boom, boom, boom, one fucking thing after another after the ofac sanctions were levied.

basically I got a bank letter certified/registered/whatever mail stating that they would be closing my account on xx day. the reason given was that my account "may not fit within our requirements" and "legal requirements".

they gave me plenty of time (41 days) to switch things over so no complaints there, and were very respectful and communicative with me. awful situation but was very well treated.

initially the bank froze 9k of my cash in that account (I'm not entirely clear if that was at the behest of the gov or just a bank decision, it was made clear to me that both were involved) but that was resolved fairly quickly (weeks, not months) and on the day my account was closed they mailed me a check for the remaining balance. the check cleared

I'm happier with my new bank now anyways but not a fun process.

anyways, figure the process is probably fairly similar under other sorts of situations. they won't just close your account next day but they can absolutely hold your money if they want

just clarifying my previous post, have been away for a week or so...

the check i got was deposited and then my bank sent it back as NSF. I contacted Mike over at NA and he forwarded it onto Crystal who told me they got their BofA account shutdown by Operation Chokepoint as others mentioned before. Crystal emailed me and told me they are going to Wells and will reissue checks.

I honestly don't know if Wells will treat them much better as an adult company, since Wells is more conservative then BofA but will see. My $110 payment turned into $150 or so with NSF fees, so really hope NA offers Paxum for affiliates. Seems like most adult companies offer it, so offering it would help both parties right? I get the costs involved in it, but seems a lot less time consuming than issuing paper checks all the time.

And the fact that Wells is in deep shit at the moment. I'd seek alternatives to WF.

If I could offer you some advice. PayPal has been working effortlessly for us with NA. They seem to pay the fees as well. Removes bank issues because whatever they are dealing with, they always have a bank account that works to some extent.

BTW, I switched my personal banking to Wells Fargo because BofA didn't like my adult checks about two years ago. Since then, because of Wells scandal, they've actually told me, hey, we are way more open to dealing with adult companies because we kind of got our assess handed to us with the opening accounts thing and we want to do two things, increase deposits, and tell the USA fuck off.

So... Take what you will. We have been getting paid via PayPal quite well from NA once we switched from checks.

I agree with most of it. They really need to get their accounting together. Crystal is doing well but I think she needs more support. It looks she is the only one doing all the work.

We still did not receive our money by the end of the year. Request was made mid-December... and we were supposed to receive checks by Fedex twice, nothing happened.

Now this Bank switching thing... gosh. Seems like we won't see these funds until another 2-3 weeks! It's about $3500 now. Last payment was on November 7th.

I'm also quote tired to run after my money. I mean, this should NOT happen. It's not everybody that can spend on advertising and wait 2 months to get paid.

NA must bank over 200k per day, I can't still figure out why a company that size can't automate the payments and have more than just 1 person on accounting.

Also checks are getting old. It takes another 21 business days to cash them in Canada.

So YES to Wire, Paxum, Paypal... and scheduled payments! :)

You can switch to PayPal. Ask accounting and you will get your money much quicker.

I don't know where you bank, but I have been with Canada Trust (now TD Canada Trust) for decades and my cheques are deposited and the money available to me immediately. The only time there is a hold placed on a cheque is when I request they do it (I ask them put a hold on cheques that look "odd" to me, or from a company I've not dealt with previously).

But a 21 day hold is not the norm for everyone, I can assure you.

Insofar as this thread is concerned, reaching out to Mike, Joe, Scotty or Crystal has always been received positively for me, and although some payments took some time, they've always paid up. I hope their new banking arrangements serve them well. It has to be frustrating for them as well having to deal with this sort of intervention and interference with their business relationships, including with those of their affiliates.

Yeah it might be different from Canadian banks to banks. I tried lefting this a few years ago but they refused since it took them a lot more business days to cash versus CAD checks. But, at that time most of our sponsors income was paid by Check so we had large sums deposits each time.

Now this is no more the case as most (if not all except NA hehe) pay us by Wire/Paxum.
