Some would say industry standard means:

• - Free, truly unlimited tech support provided by US based staff with no fees
• - No support ticket limits
• - Being able to get a live, US based, college educated professional out of bed at 3am on a Saturday if your site is hacked
• - A CMS provider well versed in those kinds of disasters and how to handle them
• - One that could sell hosting but instead makes their system work on as many hosts as possible
• - One that supports cheap mainstream hosting like Amazon and GoDaddy
• - One that supports adult VPS hosts, dedicated servers and easily integrates with CDNs
• - A CMS vendor who listens to client input and will code new features for free based on feedback
• - A CMS with a large enough deployment that every popular adult host is familiar with it and its requirements and can fix it quickly if anything goes wrong
• - A CMS provider willing to lose money in order to protect its customers and/or save them money
• - A company that never raises its prices and gives its customers more for the same price and has done so every year for 10 years at a consistent pace
• - A company that introduces beneficial tools and makes use of new trends
• - One with a solid record of succesful clients ranging from tiny startups and solo models to the largest brands in the business

These are just some of the reasons people continue to choose Elevated X a decade after we created it.

It's all about what someone values, not a list of features. Most features mean dick, in all honesty. Elevated X is big enough that if any features another CMS vendor lists as a way of attacking us truly matter to our customers, we add them.

Free hosting? LOL. That's stupid and simply not true.

And low price with software serving the adult industry has led to every product becoming unviable in a few years because they never reach critical mass and as a result they're a one man show. My answer is always the same, I'll be here in 5 years so let's prove me wrong.

ElevatedX, MechBunny, MAS, Carma - those are the only such software providers we can all expect to still be viable. I encourage great products and new competitors to give it their all and hope for the benefit of our marketplace they succeed. As a 16 year veteran and business owner myself, I wouldn't use a new CMS myself.

It scales nicely :)
Others may be more simple, but that is usually a limiting factor.

We use it on Multiple affiliate programs, Tours, Multiple Members Areas, etc.
We like Enterprise level software with fast Tech support and ticket system, etc...
So we can concentrate on getting that paper. ;)

I don't use overpriced hosting, so I can provide free hosting to clients. I'm happy your clients are willing to overpay so that you can go get drunk at every adult show. we prefer to pass our savings on to our clients.

* we even dropped our prices for 2016 to reflect the recent drop in hosting prices.

I built the first version of the cms in 2003. It was open to public sales in 2005. we keep prices low and we still make 80%+ margins. we signed up 3 new sites this week and around 20-25 per month. We're having no problems staying afloat.

we've been around a long time and we'll be around a lot longer. i can guarantee that i will continue to out-develop and out-perform your little buddy's aging cms.

You don't have "free hosting." You have a bundled product for hosting and a software license. To describe it any other way is at best an exaggeration.

Our clients don't overpay. You operate under an incorrect assumption and perpetuate the myth that MojoHost is expensive. In fact, our retail pricing is lower than the Secured Servers you are reselling. As a long time client of Mojohost I can tell you that they are more competitive than the other hosts we use. It pisses Brad off to no end that I use Mojo pricing to lower my bills elsewhere.

Before the "if mojo is so great why do you also host elsewhere" comment is made, we use 4 different hosting companies as we are partners multiple businesses that have prior contacts and commitments.

As for which is the best CMS I can't comment as we developed ours in house to suit our very specific needs. We still have a few sites on elevated-x and have no complaints, the support is very quick when we need it which isn't often.
