Well, when he first met her she was an "artist". He went to see one of her exhibits and she captivated him with what she was doing.
Also Lennon read the book "Primal Scream" and became fascinated and immersed in that.
And when he heard Yoko screaming like that, he felt that she was expressing herself more honestly than he had ever heard before.
Yeah, it all sounds like a bunch of hippy bullshit today. But this was in 1970 when musicians were actually trying to have meaning and discover answers to life.
In Lennon's estimation, her "primal" screams were a pure form of music stripped of all the fancy outer trappings.
And when John Lennon tells you that your screaming is the greatest work of music in history...you end up believing that bullshit.
So...Yoko became convinced that her screaming and yelping is the greatest thing in the world.
Oh well...
