Democrats began losing seats in the House and Senate since the first mid-term elections after Obama was elected. Today, democrats hold fewer state positions since the 1800s. Oh AND Trump is President.... BUT you also lost the House and Senate and THAT had NOTHING TO DO WITH TRUMP. You've lost all 3 branches of government, thats extremely hard to do and represents a very special level of disconnectedness with the voting public.

Obviously Trump isn't the beginning and end of your problems. Democrats have been losing ground for a long time. Over 200 counties Obama owned turned against Democrats in the Presidential elections. Latinos and blacks turned out in force for Trump in spite of the ongoing false narrative that he blew those votes.

Trump is just a symptom of your problems, your denial and your continued self deception and willful ignorance of the facts.
