It is removable.
Most leave it as a subtle excuse for brevity.
People are more forgiving of brevity, typos and grammatical errors upon seeing it.

I'm just impressed he can even manage to type out a sentence, at least without it turning into some sort of twisted partisan issue.

How could I not know that? Even if I had no phone I would have seen those messages from emails I receive.
Logic fail, tool :1orglaugh

Ps: I also use the same message as I already mentioned in #16.

Point of the thread was to laugh at iphone fanboys who use "my iphone" instead of "my phone" even in spoken conversation. Since you are so dumb that I must spell it out like to a 5th grader.

Or is it a "cool" thing to have, like saying "let me get my iphone" instead of "let me get my phone" like normal people do?

Lets rant and lets ranter hate here :thumbsup:1orglaugh

I could not agree with you more!

I immediately edited mine to say "Sent from Satan's asshole" :thumbsup

Subscription Recurring Fee

I didn't read the fine print but I figured there was some kind of catch.

Most iPhone retailers have this deal where if you buy an older model phone, sign up for a 2-year contract the phone is only $.99 which is what I was speaking of earlier. In my case, latest and greatest was the 4G but I bought a 3G which was adequate for my needs.

You do realize that it is not 99cents but hundreds which are paid by you in 24 installments?
I mean first time I thought you were being smart ass joking that it cost 99 cents, but it seems you were serious :1orglaugh

I needed a monthly plan anyways which was going to be $80 a month whether I bought the phone outright or pay $.99 for it. The only difference is if I want to move to a different carrier in that 2-year period then I would have to pay retail price for the phone which I think was $200 at the time.
If I bought the phone outright I would pay $200 plus $80 a month but I wasn't locked into a 2-year contract.

you should not care about it

Same price even if you take no phone is a rip off by carrier.
Usually plan cost X, if you take discounted/subsidized phone it cost X+Y.
If they try to charge you X+Y even if you take no phone something is lost in translation.

Having said that I still believe you would have gotten the same/similar plan for less than 80 bucks if you insisted on no subsidizing any phone. It just can't be otherwise. Unless US carriers have weird policy of not giving plans without subsidized phones.

yes but its $.99

Plan A $200 + $80 mo (no contract)
Plan B $.99 + $80 mo (2-yr contract)
If I had my own phone it would be $80 mo (no contract)

This was with AT&T and was the cheapest plan at the time. There are now discount carriers for under $30 mo.
