If you really think that Trump is "afraid" of that...then there is nothing I can say to change your mind.

As for Trump telling Megyn that she did a great job in 2011: Maybe she did back then. Perhaps she was a little more humble and did the job without trying to make herself a "star".
Since that time she has went on to have her own "opinion" news show on Fox. And as part of the new "O'Reilly-like" persona she has, she tries to argue with guests constantly and tries to be a little controversial.

She took a shot at Trump right off the bat in the first debate trying to take him out and get herself notoriety as the reporter who took Trump down. Didn't work.

Trump is saying that he's not going to be put in a situation with a supposed "moderator" with whom he now has a nasty recent history.

It's amazing to me that Fox News did this. I guess they thought he would show up and they would get huge ratings for people wanting to see Kelly fight with Trump.

That's not what the debates are supposed to be about. A "moderator" isn't there to start shit. Very unprofessional.

Anyway, that's my answer to your question. I'm sure you will tell me I'm full of shit.
But isn't that what "crockett science" and fake liberalism is all about? Intolerance and hatred?

It doesn't matter what I think... Trump said.. If a candidate is afraid to show up on a Fox news debate then they are a coward..

That's Trump's own words..

This is hilarious watching you guys spin trying to explain it away..

did you read and think about what i said? It's the core of what is wrong with politics and the Dems vs Reps facade every 4 years.

Trump disrupts this rotten core. That's the only thing that matters. And you laugh it off like it's nonsense while still believing in the fairy tale you choose the career politicians. While they are chosen for you.

Trump 2016's Mitt Romney. He'll say whatever he thinks serves him best. Right now, it's being a conservative.

There's no true belief system here. What consistent values has the man had for the past 5 years? How about 10 years?

Then Anderson Cooper reminded them that everytime somebody says "Trump made a mistake this time and he's done"...his number go UP.

Trump has pretty much outsmarted all the expensive political analysts, all of his opponents, and all of the media.

I agree with all of this except for the last bit. The people that support him always will because he is brash and loud. New facts, his lack of detail for real solutions and hypocrisy do not affect these people. The people that don't support him never will because he will only ever just be loud and offensive. The people that don't support Trump are 2:1 right now.

He will not win.

Especially when he leaves the country and starts insulting internationally.

LovinNothin 01-29-2016 12:42 AM

TRUMP IS THE TRUE MEDIA MASTER.

He walks out of a major debate (like Regan did) and then comes out smelling like roses because of all the money he collected for the vets!

He can really think on his feet.

That's the kind of guy that should be running this country. Smart, manipulative egomaniac to get the job done.

I would argue that sitting out tonight actually will be better for him than had he gone to the debate. Without him there everyone is still talking about and speculating what he might have said or done. He gets the benefit of people thinking he would have done well without having to actually do well.

The corrupt political establishment Sanders and Hillary are part of almost their whole life.

What makes you convinced a Billionaire isn't part "the corrupt political establishment"?

I do agree that many political establishments are corrupt. Be it by big business buying politicians or bureaucrats running politics. The blame for this lays at the feet of voters. We have people who think no hopers like Corbyn will give them everything, or a man like Cameron can negotiate a good deal with the EU and that the EU won't turn into a Federal Europe.

The US has a political system that requires billions to get into office's of control.

And we the people keep voting for these people. That's not an opinion Robbie.

We need to vote on facts, not soundbites. Vote on how they will make our lives better or keep them at the same level. Trump talks a good soundbite.

He can't build a wall from the Pacific to the Atlantic without Congress and Senate politicians backing it.

He can't tear up Trade Agreements.

He can't tell who's a Muslim and who's not. Especially if they hold a British passport.

He can send in 100,000 troops and make a mess into a disaster. US troops in the ME won't solve Islamic terrorism. It's the root cause of it.

His business and wealth is based on banks and the wealthy. They pull the plug on him and he loses money by the minute. He's more in their debt than anyone of us.

If you want change, vote for a man who won't go broke trying to achieve it.

And that's not an opinion Robbie. It's cold hard facts.

LovinNothin and what was so good about Reagan? Look at how he made everyone think they were better off. We don't need media masters, we need people who can get the right jobs done. And that goes right through our political system.

The problem was the Scottish MPs believed his BS about all the money he would pour in and jobs he would create. Which even if he had got his way would never have appeared.

And Trump himself. He screwed up big time by not looking at the facts. The farmers couldn't be evicted to please him, he has no right to determine Scotland's energy plans and he couldn't buy or bully his way through.

This will happen when he tries to implement his plans.

So forget about Mexico paying for it. But is it possible? Yes and it would be a good thing, all the Americans have to do is pay for the building of it, with expensive US workers, then police it with more US workers.

Then pay more in shops for foods, gardeners, builders, cleaners, etc. Because cheap labour from Mexico is a thing of the past. Still cheaper than the effects of stopping Third World imports. That will force up prices in the shops by double if not more.

Politics is politics and the country is pretty much split right down the middle. I do not believe that one side is better than the other; We should be voting for the correct person and once that person is in office they should be making the correct decisions - not making decisions based on their party platforms.

But something is seriously wrong here. Someone here on GFY said the other day that "real unemployment rate is 40%". Really? That's almost half the population. If this was remotely true our economy would be at a stand still. People cannot seriously believe this kind of crap, can they?

Interesting you mention true unemployment rate. I have never had much faith in that number.
They get it from those looking for work. Not those without jobs.
I'm not saying what it is but suspect it is always higher than stated.

If they want a real gauge, they would say how many employed people there are and what the population is above 18. Then say what that percentage is and how many of those not employed are looking for work.

The way the do it, it just becomes a political tool that has no basis in fact for how it is sited for use.

I would like to hear the employment rate. Then I know if there is real job growth and how many are paying taxes. The less people paying increases my share of what is needed.
Remember that when wishing a tax break for someone.

Robbie 01-29-2016 10:39 AM

Rochard doesn't bother to just use Google:
Unemployment dips to 7.3 percent, but only 63% of Americans are in labor force - The Washington Post

37% of the qualified workforce is unemployed. THAT is the true number.

We will see. I do think the country is on the wrong track and I do believe that corporate power is the main problem. The longer I sit in Spain, the more Inc. $$$ in the U.S. stands out. If he does win, I hope he truly deals with that. I don't think he will though, because while he may be an outsider to Washington, he is an insider on Wall Street which more or less equals D.C. these days.

It is interesting to say the least.

Paul...I give up on you. You won't listen. You won't accept facts. That golf course is one of the finest in the world. It raises the economy there.

You have simply decided that things will be the way you want them to be and that's that.

Doesn't really matter anyway. You don't live here, you don't have any say here, and you have no vote here.

You seem to pander to the big corporations that run the media and what they TELL you to think. And that's okay.
Enjoy the campaign. It's different than any campaign in our lifetimes.

If he does win, I hope he truly deals with that. I don't think he will though, because while he may be an outsider to Washington, he is an insider on Wall Street which more or less equals D.C. these days.

It is interesting to say the least.

I don't think he's an "insider" on Wall Street.
He doesn't make his money speculating on the stock market. And he's not in the pocket of that money like the other candidates.

Only time will tell. But one thing we can definitely see: Electing "more of the same" with the other candidates will DEFINITELY get us "more of the same".

37% of the qualified workforce is unemployed. THAT is the true number.

I agree with you that the constant import of cheap foreign labour has produced much of the problems the West faces. Tun alongside the export of jobs, it's been a disaster and led to the crisis we have today. I'm 100% in favour of closing both doors to only the essential. I know it will effect your income in the short term, long term it's the only way to get the West back on solid ground. The cost will have to be met by us to safeguard our children's future.

My problem is in believing Trump will do it and bring down the wealth of himself and the 1%. He can't tell the Mexicans to pay for the wall, can't tell China and the rest of the world he's tearing up the trade agreements, he can't tell British Muslims from British Hindus, Christians, etc. Other than their race. And I believe he knows that. He's betting you don't.

He can send in troops, again, to the ME. What's his after plan and how will he deal with the terrorists threats that result in such an invasion?

Who says it's one of the finest? Besides Trump. Try booking a room there, it's easy as they have a lot of space. Google

Still you refuse to ignore my approach. He didn't get people to do exactly what he wanted, so walked away. How successful will this approach be as President?

As for pandering to big corporations. Do you mean the people who pay for US politicians?

You're right this is as much fun as watching Palin flounder.

Other politicians are in the pocket of corporations. He won't be a dictator who can roll over anyone he chooses to, like he thinks he can in business.

I agree electing more of the same won't change the outcome. We need to be voting for people who only spend $500,000 to get elected. Write laws that give political candidates the right to accept donations up to the size the average person can afford. The only people who will look after Mr and Mrs Average. Are those who don't rely on the wealthy to back them or rent their hotel rooms or play on their over priced gold courses. not the one in Scotland, that's got lots of space. Trump is in debt to the banks, he needs them to not call in his loans.

Should he go the way he has done in the past thinking he was to big to fail. They could just take the hit to see him penniless. Or under control.

Obama promised change. Who stopped him from delivering it and why?
