These delegates often change their support and it always coincides with the popular vote.

Should this process be changed? Yes. But not because it fucks one candidate over another. But because it gives ammunition to the other party and people that do not understand the process (see this thread).

i agree that in the end game superdelegates haven't decided a race but i disagree that the superdelegate is not worth discussing. it's entire creation was to ensure people like Bernie Sanders never ever win. i think what we will see going forward is the more that the establishment tries to squash Bernie, the more supporters he will gain. the more Hillary and the DNC align against him, the more voters he will gain. will it be enough, maybe.

He doesn't understand just like Robbie doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. All Robbie did was saw some opinion piece at his favorite "I hate liberals info zone", he then ran here to post about it and try to gotcha his way to showing everyone how horrible liberals and democrats are.

You can point out facts, show him he's wrong and he will be right back in another topic preaching the same dumb lies.

Dynamo just comes along and agrees with everything his conservabros say while telling us all Bernie is his guy so it means he's independent..

i bet it's going to be people like you that sweep Trump into office. Hillary is done and you know it. that leaves Sanders v Trump. unless all the liberal high 5ing over Ted Cruz gives him the needed momentum. but just like attacks on Bernie Sanders only add to his support, so do attacks on Trump.

I've never supported Hillary so dunno where you could get a notion like that. I said from the beginning and long before Bernie became your guy, that I supported him. I've said I'd vote for Hillary over Trump or any of the other Republicans (aside from Rand Paul) but I've never liked Hillary. Hillary to me is just a 1980's-90's Republican..

The only 2 candidates I'd care to support are Sanders and Rand Paul. I don't agree with many positions of both Sanders or Rand Paul, but I feel both of them have the best interests of this country and "the people" in mind over special interest/big business.

You know it's rather ironic and a telling sign that Robbie completely ignores Rand Paul as does all the other GFY conservabros here on GFY. Here you have a candidate while a little out there in his thinking on certain things but over-all a pretty firm constitutionalist and not really part of the Republican establishmenmt. Yet he's totally ignored in favor of a celebrity rich guy with no plans.

A very telling sign indeed, that most of our GFY consrabros are just enticed by flashy lights and dumb talking points rather than looking at the actual candidates and what they stand for.

i know you've liked Sanders since early on. i wasn't implying your guy hillary is done, i'm saying she's done.

i grew up in a family that was big time ron paul supporters from his congressional district in Texas way back when, the Paul family political value system is quite full of baloney. and rand paul hasn't rallied the disenfranchised and disappointed like Trump has. Trump resonates, Paul does not.

I don't think she's done any more than I think Jeb Bush is done. The system is slanted and those are the appointed two in my opinion. It's going to take a landslide support for Sanders to be the nomination pick. I like him, but I understand reality.

I also think that Jeb Bush is just sitting back in the wait and he's the RNC's real pick. Right now they are just putting the crazies in the front so they can be weeded out with-out much damage being done to their main pick prior to the nommination.

Trump is unexpected problem for them, but he will eventually get weeded out because the establishment republicans will far out-weigh the narrow base of Trump's support.

So Democrats ..... No comments except Republicans are fucked up too? Nice.

This is going to become a huge problem in the future - People read the news they want to hear.

I tend to use Google News for my online news (and the "Smart News" app on my cell and tablet). I've noticed Google News has a new category called "Suggested for you". Anything about Bernie, Hillary, Ferrari, M$ Surface, WWII, and the 49ers tends to appear here.

My point is.... When I was a kid my parents got the local paper, which generally speaking was unbiased. Now we have news channels which are completely slanted towards one side, and news sites that are dedicated towards one side.

If you are reading news that is slanted to one side or the other, you aren't reading news at all. You are reading opinions. If are you going to certain websites to get news, you might be getting less of "news" and more of opinions.

I though Bush was going to be the obvious choice for the Republican party. Boy was I wrong.

I gave a lengthy comment about why the OP is wrong, on both items he posted (Superdelegates and the Iowa coin flips).

It doesn't fit your agenda and you choose to ignore facts. Which is typical of the right.

I wasn't reading the "news".

I was wondering how many delegates all the different candidates had from both Republicans and Democrats.

I googled it up.

I have supplied the link over and over in this thread. But you and crockett apparently won't just LOOK for yourselves before you speak.

There was no opinion piece, there was no "news" story. Matter of fact, that's one of the things I am saying (but you guys refuse to hear). WHY aren't any media outlets talking about this on cable news? Instead they spent a couple of days talking about Trump calling Cruz a pussy. And now it's all about how Jeb is bringing George W. on the campaign trail.

Not a word about how Sanders was screwed in Iowa with the "magic" coin flip (Hillary won ALL 6 times...how convenient) or how he won in a landslide in New Hampshire and yet Hillary got MORE of the New Hampshire delegates than Bernie did.

And how there have only been 2 states voting so far with a total of 68 possible delegates...and yet Hillary has 394 delegates already (thanks to backroom politicking of super delegates).

Again Rochard...PLEASE get educated before you say dumb things.

As for crockett, he is just trolling. None of this matters to him at all. He simply doesn't care if Sanders is getting fucked or not. He is an establishment guy who shrugs it off as "business as usual" and has no passion.

Don't have an agenda. Was just surprised, after watching coverage of recent primary, that the "victory" by Bernie was pointless. Not one of the news shows covered anything except Bernie beat Hillary. Obviously that's not even close ..,,,
Also surprised no one brought it up before Robbie.

It crossed my mind. I had read both the salon and the des Moines register articles prior and was pretty miffed about the shenanigans.

But in the long view, super delegates are a small percentage of the delegates and I believe the more the establishment tries to suppress Bernie and advance Hillary, the more it will backfire in their faces. This election could very well be about anti establishmentarianism.

This is why I bring up the global warming plankton theory of Robbie's all the time. The first time he posted about it, I thought it sounded interesting...

I looked it up and it had already been debunked. I then provided him the proof of what was wrong with his theory.. he of course ignored it.

He went on to repeat the same thing in several topics and I posted the proof that he was wrong in each topic, but he just made excuses as to how his was a newer study or this or that.. Never of course could he come to admit he was wrong or that his science guy he was quoting was mistaken..

In Robbie's world he's never wrong..

You never "debunked" anything! And I never "repeated" it over and over except to tell you what the newest science that was being reported straight from the scientists own mouth and not from you frantically trying to find a link to anyone saying that it isn't "true".

I don't even understand why you are attacking me in this thread.

I spent the last 7 months railing against the Republicans for trying to fuck Trump. And you attacked me over that too.

Now I'm saying the DNC is fucking Sanders and you still attack.

You have nothing useful to say in these discussions crockett except to troll.

I'm really trying to make a point here and it's something that I think you should be bothered by as well.
The Democrats are the self-proclaimed "good guys". And yet they are pulling this hypocritical shit with Sanders?

How can you not be pissed about this? This is something we should 100% agree on.

2MuchMark 02-12-2016 08:29 AM

Sorry Robbie but Crocket is right about you. You have really strong opinions on things and thats fine, but you don't seem to want to accept facts that prove you wrong. Instead, to push them aside claiming some kind of liberal or other agenda.

Mark...where in this thread am I talking about my "agenda"?

My only "agenda" is that I see the RNC and the DNC working together to push THEIR agenda at the expense of the people.

In this thread I posted a direct link to the FACTS. crockett has yet to even address that. He just keeps attacking me. You have yet to address that either.

You both ignore it because you don't WANT to know the shady shit that your beloved Democrat Party is doing.

I've been attacking the Republican Party since last summer for what they are trying to do to manipulate the vote away from Trump. You and crockett attacked me about that as well.

It amazes me that neither of you seem to really give a damn about the people....but only wish to defend the establishment. And Mark, the establishment of both the RULING party's is corrupt through and through.

Especially when the big Newspaper tycoons were the only source of news and information back before radio and television.

Oh and I'm not going to repeat what I've posted several times, all you have to do is search for your plankton theory posts and then you will find my posts debunking yours and showing you that what is happening is very bad and doesn't solve anything but rather is causing even more problems.

"My" plankton theory? You mean one of the most respected climate scientists in the world's "plankton theory" (which isn't a theory at all, it's fact)

As for putting your name in the thread...how did that attack you?

I wanted to get your ass into this thread foolishly thinking that you would act like a responsible person and call bullshit on the establishment.

Don't know why I gave you that much credit. It was obviously a mistake on my part to even entertain the thought that you would react in a meaningful way.

Don't worry, I won't try to engage you in thoughtful discussion anymore. I've learned my lesson. From now on I will just go back to having fun with arguing with you. :(

Cry me a river Robbie.. You love to dish it out but can't take it in return. You call us all out trying to play gotcha games, because democrats did something and all the GFY liberals in your mind have to answer...

So now you and your conservabros try to shame us because we don't give you your pre-determined answer, yet you don't think that's attacking. Meanwhile you never answer a damn question without 8 paragraphs of walking around the questions and figuring out some-way to blame liberals, Obama or Hillary, but of course it's diffrent when you do it..

As for your plankton theory, I see you are still too hardheaded or ignorant to accept you are wrong.. Go figure, like3 Imwouldn't of gussed that.

Robbie 02-12-2016 03:29 PM

Good lord...

I'm not "dishing out" anything crockett. When I was fucking with you in some of those other threads where we were busting each other's balls that was pretty obvious.

"I" am not doing anything. The DNC is fucking over Sanders.

And all you seem to want to obsess about is ME.

For fuck's sake...just drive over to Vegas and I'll let you suck my dick so you can finally get some closure on your "Robbie" obsession and regain some type of mental clarity.

You are delusional. I started this one topic with your name in it because I thought it would be of great interest to you.

The other thread that was making fun of you (and you got your ass roasted alive by EonBlue) was not started by me.

You are pretty much projecting what you THINK is happening with no reality to back it up.

And oh by the way...the number one proggresive candidate for President is being fucked over by the establishment of the DNC.

But I'm sure you are too busy obssessing over me to worry about that.

You truly are a fake liberal.

Nope, I didn't start it...but I damn sure finished it! lol!

EDIT: Notice how crockett is all in that thread (just like EVERY thread he is in) calling anyone that doesn't agree with his insane ideas a bunch of "right wingers".

He just keeps repeating the same stupid shit over and over and over. So predictable in every thread. Never joins in a real discussion without insulting everyone right off the bat.

You found a thread I forgot about from a year and a half ago!

And again, it was a thread that I was pretty sure you would want to see since it was about a subject we had argued so many times.

And looking back at that thread...you immediately started attacking me and then claimed I "attacked" you first because your name was in the topic! Then you started calling me a "hater" for showing you a link to CBS news that didn't fit with your little perceptions.

Wow. Are you going to tell me that you can't see that you follow the same pattern of hatred and vitriol in every thread you post in?

Robbie 02-12-2016 05:58 PM

Oh, and I hate to interrupt you when you are ignoring the topic (as usual)...but did you see this:
how many delegates does clinton have? - Google Search

But Robbie, what does it all mean?

it's like when ********** the canadian exclaimed that Sanders is his guy and i replied, that's great, here's a link to his donation page. **********'s reply to that was a demand for me to prove to him that i've donated. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Dynamo. Sanders can never be "my guy" as much as I would want him to be. As you endlessly like to point out, both in normal conversation and in your bigoted rants, I'm Canadian. I can have absolutely no choice in who becomes your next president. I can't vote.

Since the race started, you have said that Bernie is "your guy", and you are the one who obviously searched for and found the link to donate to his campaign, and you are the one who asked me to donate.

But when I asked you Dynamo if you did, you didn't reply. Instead, you reply with a nervous laugh, just like when you got caught photoshopping tar balls, got caught lying to other GFY'ers, got caught changing the text inside of other peoples quotes, etc. Nervous laughter is laughter evoked from embarrassment, alarm, discomfort or confusion, rather than amusement. Have something to admit?

dyna mo 02-12-2016 07:30 PM

I never asked anyone to donate jack shit to anyone, I simply said good for you and provided a link. You're the one desperately trying to spin that

That's just you on the defense for exclaiming Sanders is your guy when that means absolutely jack shit coming from a canaduhian.

However, I was still right about you starting the topics.. :1orglaugh

By the way crockett...what do you think about Bernie losing all 6 coin flips in Iowa?

And what are your thoughts about him basically tying Hillary in Iowa and then beating her in a landslide in New Hampshire...and waking up to find himself behind by 350 delegates already?

twinvisible 02-12-2016 08:47 PM

While superdelegates are pure buffoonery when did they ever tip an election towards someone that had less "bound" delegates? You realize that superdelegates are not bound to any nominee at this point correct?

I didn't watch them flip the coins, Robbie. I have no clue on the delegates, my opinion on what happens isn't going to change anything, so I don't spend my days worrying about the race between Bernie & Hillary..

I've always said I assume Hillary will get the nomination. Just like I still say Jeb Bush will get the Republican nomination. Everything else is a side show.

I like Bernie, but he will need to be way ahead of Hillary to get the nomination, not neck and neck.

I suspect Bernie will eventually go the way of guys like Ron Paul or Ross Perot. Have lots of support for a while but the establishment pick gets the cake..

Why is it you never raised an eyebrow to the election fraud which went on in FL during the Bush elections, but suddenly you are worried about coin tosses which mean little to nothing?

No, Clinton Doesn't Really Have More Delegates Than Sanders After Losing New Hampshire | VICE News

TL;DR you're all fucking retarded

twinvisible 02-12-2016 09:51 PM

In 2008 Clinton v Obama superdelgate count after New Hampshire was 154 for Clinton and 50 for Obama. The rest is...

I like you so I'm not going to trip on your retarded comment
