Yep dipshit, it's called deductible. Once I pay m $300 a year deductible its free afterwards. Thats how shit works in civilized world. No bribes, no bottles of wine of packs of coffee. No waiting lines. My dental is probably $30 a month. I spent more on 3 beers at the bar last night :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Making $300 a month and pimping your sister must suck a bit. So you be crying my little SErb peasant. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I guess this is how 3rd worlders gets back at us for dropping all those bombs.

Hey crucifissio, I pay my landscaper $100 a week to maintain my lawn. Go start a new thread and tell us all about your $10 serbian lawn mowing.

Lawn mowing? Come on. Boris and his Serbian bud live in one of these architectural beauties. No wonder it cost him $500 to "remodel" entire bathroom. My guestroom closet is at least 3 times bigger than average russian bathrooms.

Would you rather live in a shithole 3rd world country, make an average of $100 dollars a week and pay $10 for an MRI or live in the U.S. and make an average of $51,000 dollars a year, pay $700 a month for health insurance and get all the MRIs you want.

If an average Serb earns $300 a month, he can do 30 MRI for that money. Right? The MRI price in the USA is $2,700. What's the average salary in the US? How much you should earn to afford the same that a regular Serb can have for his money? $81,000 USD a month? According to this simple logic course I will prefer Serbia over the USA.

I didn't live in Serbia, so I'll better speak for my country. In other thread I have explained why a person here who earns $1000 a month has more money in his pocket (actually he simple keeps all $1000) than a person who earns $5000 in the States. I'm talking about cash after all mandatory payments (obamacare, taxes, etc). Now add to this a huge difference in purchasing power. After financial crisis, I can afford here much more than in the USA for the same amount of dollars. This does not apply to medicine only. This applies to almost everything. E.g. some clown from Florida has made a new shower room and he has spent almost 10x more money than me (that's a coincidence, but I also got a new shower room last autumn). And I believe that my shower room is better than his (course it's a matter of taste). How come? That's because I've paid much less than him to the workers, I've saved on transportation etc. Also I pay much less for water, electrics etc.

P.S. Somehow we have invented a new index as a measure of standard of living. The MRI index :1orglaugh

That's not actually correct. For $700 a month you will have as many MRI's as your doctor say (perhaps one or zero). You can't just go to any private clinic and say: "I want MRI of left hand, right hand, both legs, brain and spine. Go do it because I want it. Hey, I pay $700 a month, so do what I say!" Can you do this? No, you can't, while a regular Serb can afford that just easily, because he pays the money for every procedure he wants.

Usually you have multiple MRIs for head injury. As a follow ups, dumb ass. Other wise why would you go for random MRI? Shit is scary enough. The only thing that get unlimited MRIs in Russia is cockroaches which crawl around you hospital rooms.

while I don't agree with a lot what you post, I agree with this 100 %:2 cents::2 cents:

and why it is so expensive in US ? if you would have to employ person that already spent xx,xxx of $$$ for his/ her medical education (remember: university education in US is not free), you have to pay him a lot, just to cover his work and initial costs of education.
add to that bunch of lawyers that need to be paid too ("I will sue your hospital for one BILION dollars, because I am stupid and the cup with hot coffee slip from my hand and now I got burning sensation on my skin " :1orglaugh:1orglaugh ) and general exploitive nature of the whole system - and you have what you have....

One more fucking time. Don't have insurance? Too lazy to fill out paper work for Obamacare? Go to Public Hospital and have your shit done there for free. How do you think brassmonkeys or illegals get their medication or give birth to 10 babies? Whats so difficult to understand. Yes, its overpriced when comparing to Russia, Rwanda or Bolivia. Sucks? Remind me what's income tax like in France or Sweden. Lets talk about "that" Europe, not Serbia, Russia or Rwanda. Lets calculate how much of that income tax goes towards "free" healthcare and compare it to the US where 45% of its people pay zero tax.

klinton 02-29-2016 02:34 PM

I'm talking about PRIVATE clinics/hospitals here (Europe) and there (US).
Here they are few times cheaper.....

Most if not all clinics here are private. We have public non-profit hospitals, but I don't think they belong to US government. What is so difficult to understand?
So you pay 40% income tax in France, We pay 20% plus the cost of health insurance.

Not true. There are boards deciding who gets what. Even if denying leads to death, it's still denied.

Not true again. It's overpriced compared to any other country in the world. Even where students have to pay for their University education. And there are lawyers waiting to serve malpractice writs.

Horatio Caine don't drag Income Tax into it. We're discussing what countries spend on only the Health Services per capita. So whether it's income tax or Health Insurance the figure spent is the same.

For example, a fully comprehensive policy for a 39 year-old non-smoker would cost around £115 a month, but the same person opting for a policy which has no cancer, complementary therapy or dental cover, plus an excess of £500 would be around £20 a month.

Annual premiums for employer-sponsored family health coverage reached $16,351 this year, up 4 percent from last year, with workers on average paying $4,565 toward the cost of their coverage, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation/Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET).

I'm sorry but I don't see any connection in taxes for public healthcare and cost of private clinics/ hospitals....
if the taxes in US are lower, the clinics/ private hospitals, should be cheaper too.......by your "logic"
also, lets take sample Frenchie that doesnt give a fuck about any insurance at all. he will just show up in any private hospital/ clinic in his country and he will still pay few times less than he would be in US (also in private hospital/ clinic/ whatever), for, lets say ...MRI....

Why would it be cheaper? Where is your logic? Your taxes include healthcare benefits, ours too but only for public hospitals. I pay extra for private hospital insurance so I don't have to wait in line for 2 hours. You people are retarder or something? let frenchie go and do what frenchie wants.I don't give a fuck. It goes further than income tax. Most European countries have insane levels of VAT on everything (21% here in CZ). Even basic food items are highly taxed (again it's around 14% in CZ).

And I have never heard anyone say they are going to mexico to get their teeth fixed. I know people go to Columbia to get new tits or do minor plastic sergeries in S. Korea, but not Mexico.

I did one on my knee and paid $200 I think. Why would you do MRI on a toe? Must be a Polak thing.
Any more questions?

Yes, the steakhouse bill for lunch today was $116 and service was excellent. I tipped the waitress a full days wages for a Serb. Was that enough?

anyway, CyberSeo says that in Russia there is 6 % tax

That's not correct actually. A flat income tax in Russia is 13% - doesn't matter if you make 3 RUB or a 1 billion a month. Only small business/individual entrepreneurs like me can use a so-called simplified tax form and pay only 6%. To do so, you just have to register in the tax inspection office. Those who don't register will still have to pay 13% of their income.

That sure sounds nice and simple.

Also we have something similar in a penalty system as well. E.g. if you have violated some traffic code and were fined by a police officer, you have to pay just a half (50%) of that money, in case if you do it within 20 days.

The U.S. tax code is more than 74,000 pages.

Ours is big as well: Russian Tax Code (taxes for regional invest projects, controlled foreign companies, law-enforcement departments/the investigating authorities, excises and blah-blah-blah). However the actual tax system is very simple for regular citizens (13%) and individual entrepreneurs/small business (6%). It's flat and easy.

If you'll get caught with a tax evasion (actually it's an extremely hard thing to prove), you will be fined for up to 20%-40% of the amount of the unpaid tax according to the article 122 of Russian Criminal Code (Google translate). Yes, Soviet Russia is a very repressive country and that's why our laws are so severe. However even with whose inhuman laws, a tax evasion is a national sport in Russia, I'm not kidding now.

More government would be the solution financially

If you factor in the average wage its much more expensive for food in CZ than the US for most people.

The US on average compares much better than countries like Czech on many things. But not on the cost of Healthcare. We get far better value. Food I can't comment on.

Compare the US cost of Healthcare with any First World Nation and it's clear Americans are being ripped off. Even with Income Tax that some have to stick to in order to cling on. The end figure of what Americans pay and the rest pay shows the US Private Healthcare is a rip-off.

Income tax pays for a lot more than Healthcare. So including it is misleading.

http://www.commonwealthfund.org/~/me...20&w=960&la=en

Why Peer Nations Spend Less on Health Care but Stay Healthier. Seems it all started to change in the 80s, why?

UNITED STATES PER CAPITA HEALTHCARE SPENDING IS MORE THAN TWICE THE AVERAGE OF OTHER DEVELOPED COUNTRIES

But keep trying to pretend it's all about income taxes. It doesn't convince anyone but yourselves.

Paul, I won't be the first one to say that you are a fucking moron, so nothing personal.
Have you ever seen what people come to urgent care and emergency rooms with? Flu, dislocated thumb, knee scrapes, head bumps. Please shut the fuck up and get that jigsaw puzzle out. Thats the the only game you'd be right at. That and magic join links. Every hospital here has "uninsured patient" insurance. They get paid regardless.
